Lol, for a game so heavy on plot and dialogue, a lot of people who play it are apparently really bad at reading.
The text in most games on here is unimportant, potentially leading to the impression that the text here isn't, either, which couldn't be further from the truth.
I tried that, too - Except that didn't seem to work for me. I applied the patch, and I still got the huge black screen on scenes that said THERE IS NOTHING HERE or whatever. I did use an old save, but that shouldn't matter, right? The assets should have been replaced regardless? Also, I thought the LewdPatcher patch only uncensored some of the content, not all of it?
It uncensors what Patreon had a problem with, which is a lot considering one entire character was based around a concept they don't accept.
Swear to fuck, Sub/Sel is going to have a fucking aneurysm reading half of these comments. How are some of these people
this bad at reading comprehension? I'm here reading some of these people being like "wtf no nsfw????" like

I know, it was stated pretty clearly that the NSFW version was being done differently, not discontinued.
What scene are you referring too with Molly?
Probably the one where
she's passed out drunk in her costume and he does things to her.
.... well ... ok then. (I think developers sometimes forget why people play their games)
Read the thread, development is not being ended on the NSFW elements, it is just not being done by the one person Patreon can hold accountable for this game breaking their rules.
He's still going to be updating and maintaining the NSFW version outside of Patreon. The adult content was only removed for Patreon.
Subeles is doing that.
Patreon is really a terrible place to be. They have dumped all over the adult community for years now, and they ban people randomly all the time. I strongly suggest just not using that service at all.
And you know that practically 100% of anyone on patreon are getting this game precisely for the adult content. - all this does is add an annoying step which will inevitably drive people away. Which is pretty much the opposite effect that game developers want. You WANT people to be playing and paying for your game.
And if fiddling around with patreon means it adds yet another extra step that people have to navigate, it will result in less people actually playing the game because every extra step is another point at which some people will just get frustrated and drop out entirely.
The problem is that Patreon is the single best service in its market as far as payment options. SubscribeStar is their only real competition and things like PayPal are inaccessible to them because they allow content Patreon does not. In fact, those services SubscribeStar can't use are exactly why Patreon banned that content.
You would also be wrong on that percentage as most people play it for the story considering that the focus is there and has never been on the sexual side content. Some people do still play it for the sex, but most people looking for sex in their games have left this game already due to a lack of enough sex content to satisfy them, a lack that is by design.
Sure, but balance that against the fact that 95% of his income is currently on Patreon; at some point the cost-benefit analysis makes it worthwhile for him to jump through the hoops, even if some people drop the game entirely rather than switch to SubscribeStar or the yearly game pass.
Obviously it would be ideal for him for everyone to switch to a different site so he doesn't have to put up with Patreon's bullshit, but until that happy day, he's still financially dependent on them.
Do you mean Mana Transfer? See Ayane's event Crash of Thunder (which requires visiting her dorm at 35 Affection after having seen Under the World Tree, her level 35 Dojo event), and then wait until Tuesday.
Indeed, and unfortunately, the cost-benefit analysis is currently in favor of sticking to Patreon. Maybe one day his Patreon patrons will see the light and he can dump Patreon entirely.
Okay, look. The important bit is that the NSFW version will continue to be updated and will be available outside of Patreon. I would recommend taking further discussion about the merits and flaws of Patreon outside of this thread before a Mod steps in to enforce that.
You mean like they haven't done? This discussion has been going on pretty frequently since the strike by Patreon and not a word has been said by the mods. Maybe they consider it on topic since it is related to the game.
Perhaps some people will leave, yeah. But considering Sel has literally told people to check the Discord twice, once in the initial announcement post and another time in the release post of the SFW version, I don't know what more he can do. If people decide to leave, well that sucks, but the majority of folk seem to have figured it out. And considering new players are likely to discover this game through another avenue than Patreon they will probably figure out something is up when the Patreon link for the cool psychological horror NSFW game they just discovered leads to a Patreon for a parody version of the same game. At some point you can't hold people's hands anymore.
People have already proven they don't read on several occasions both before and during this discussion. You're right, though, the time for hand holding is over.
