I feel most all of these events will be without Akira and while I don't prefer those kind, I am sure they will still be good. I worry about what direction things will be going with Maya as well.

That part of the scene is a variant for the flag for whether or not you lied to Karin about hooking up with Kirin. You should lie to her about it, it's the right way as shown by the fact you miss a scene if you don't, it's another tripwire flag to bump you off of the 'true path'.

In fact, there is a good chance that we are not interpreting or controlling someone, we are just mere spectators because for us to interpret/control we have to have a certain control over things and seriously, if we change all the "choices" we we made in this game, nothing would take away from the result we are in now because of all the "choices" we made, none of them really had a monstrous impact on the world. Everything that was really important, we had no choice.
Yeah i hear ya man but that doesn't matter in this game, the choices in this game are mostly false, there is one right answer and if you don't pick it the game will punish you with missed scenes, which it tracks and will punish you for even more later on and will no doubt fuck you over big time at some point cause that's how Selly is, as a developer, so you can play the game how you want, but sooner or later Selly is going to knock you down, kick you in the gut and laugh at you for thinking you had any say in how his story goes.
I wouldn't say that it's punishment. And isn't it impossible to get all the scenes now that chika brought up the three way with rin? Or does that happen regardless of if you choose her?
Oh but it is, ugh, i suck at explaining it but it's all a facade, the game even says it at some points, you don't actually have a choice. So far all we've seen is Ayane's version, Yumi was straight up 'fuck no', nothing on Rin (she was asked i think, but with Otoha at the time), Chinami looked to almost definitely be a no and nothing on Tsubasa so far. If you don't choose Ayane you miss a scene and Selly has gone on the record to say a 100% run will be possible and he hasn't retracted it so we're left with a sort of proof by contradiction, if anyone else has a viable threesome scene then a 100% run is not possible, and if it still is then only Ayane's can be viable, so it's up to you how you flip that coin, but based on everything else the game has shown so far and what we know of Selly as a dev, i'd put the odds on Ayane being the right choice compared to the rest at like 99:1.
