Selly pretty much fucked himself over, the game is still getting pirated as it was before his care package hissy fit and DRM revenge plot but now he doesn't even gain the benefit of advertisement from this site, not really, not by much, the occasional new subscriber willing to support the dev is counterbalanced by the slow loss in subscribers every dev suffers over time, people move on, pledge to new projects or their situation changes and cannot keep their pledges. His income has completely stagnated since the thread was quarantined and that isn't going to change unless some new website comes along that he can advertise through as he once did here, but why would that happen? For legit purpose there's steam (not an option) and to a far lesser extent, itchio, and for grey purposes there's F95 and a handful of other much smaller AVN sharing websites, the only prominent ones also having piracy.

I have no idea how other people would be finding this game on here these days. I was searching games by top weighted rating for incest and this game kept popping up, but at like page 6 out of 90. The mega download limit kept me away from the game for a while on top of that too.

It's basically doing what you did plus people's signatures, there's no real other way to find the game here unless you already know of it and do a search.

I have no idea how other people would be finding this game on here these days. I was searching games by top weighted rating for incest and this game kept popping up, but at like page 6 out of 90. The mega download limit kept me away from the game for a while on top of that too.

The only reason I discovered Lessons in Love is because the dev of “Adventurer Trainer” and a couple of his supporters started talking about it on their thread. Apparently the dev was really inspired by LiL and gave his praises to Selebus as a talented writer.

Me, having already finished the current version of AT and looking for any new games to play, decided what the hell and did a search on it. Sure enough, there it was.

I downloaded it, not expecting much more than a quick way to pass the time before moving on to something else.

…Needless to say, LiL has had its claws in me ever since. I’ve never been more glad to be a KonoSuba fan.

Really glad I decided to play AT, because the domino effect it had led me to one of my favorite VNs. It also led me down the KK rabbit-hole, so there’s that too.

There are more a thousand little ways to find this game, my point was about volume, the routes remaining are a trickle compared to the sizeable stream he once had access to, and that trickle is barely enough to counteract the loss to natural evaporation.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I understand your point and agree with it. I was just responding to the question on how people were able to find the game. My case was pure coincidence.

Searched games by tags on this site, found this one.
I actually played VERY close to it's initial release, back when Ayane could be rejected in the bathroom. Found no animations as the tags implied and put it down for like a year before "checking back in" to see if that had changed.

While it definitely did, I can't say I was expecting what I got but the characters are just so good I had to stick around. I quit for a second time after the Molly halloween incident cause I couldn't handle it and found out that it was unavoidable, got a girlfriend shortly after so didnt touch the game again for several years before picking it back up like two weeks ago when the guide mod came out for 0.44 (Cause I did the original resets myself and fuck doing that again).

Really wonder where the game will go from here though, I remember Selebus on this thread saying the "harem" route was going to be the game we're playing now, also known as the "dark route" and that we'd get better endings with the girls after that but I see things have changed from such, and the dark route is apparently now Chap 5 - 10. Can only imagine how much worse things are going to get lmao.

Oh thats a fucking relief, I really wanna see true routes, the girls deserve the happiness. Then again, Selebus might make those routes horrible too.

Welp since Sel's most recent cash grab is dead in the water I have used my pervert brain to conjure up a hypothetical new cash grab (that Sel may never see). I think Sel should try what-if h-scenes for previous existing situations next. Since we had to go back to a previous save to get the Alexis event I see no problem go back to for something more fulfilling. Like for instance what if Sel went in and did Wakana joining Niki and Sensei during 0.33 or Haruka actually seducing Molly in 0.40. If the stretch goal is reached he could go in and add those scenes. And he could obviously milk the more desired what if's for more money.

Sel's latest cash grab/stretch goal we're the custom animations. They did well when he first introduced them but now his income has gone back to being stagnant and we haven't got anymore.

Addon: Sel actually has lost money between now and the most recent animation. The goal for Touka and Yasu was $10,500 now he's sitting at $9,914.

Still catching up on the latest few updates, have yet to see any NTR (though I suspect I know where that's headed) or murder, but since someone mentioned that scene, I'm morbidly curious...at the beginning of the newest Halloween party section, there's a scene where Io and Sensei talk about how he dealt with that whole breakdown she had, and it's kinda heartwarming. By Chapter 4 standards at least. But I can't help but wonder what happens if you took the "Stomachache" route there. Is it a missed scene, or does it somehow rub in the awfulness even more?

And as a side note, while I totally get it, is anyone else starting to find perpetual sadsack Akira a bit boring? Maybe it's just the pace of the recent updates, but it's starting to drag a bit IMO.

Okay, for everybody that wants to see this elusive 0.45 Alexisthymia Happy event.

Everybody who is a regular knows that Selebus is a cunt, so he took it on himself to make sure "cheating" becomes way more difficult. Most imported save files don't work as they get corrupted so the "easy" way to see it is through URM.

PLEASE, if you are going to see this event, do it from either this SAVE file, any save that works or just getting there manually, AS LONG as you get there through the mall itself. Do NOT try to flag the event through URM.

BEFORE you put this file in your saves folder, make sure to make a BACKUP of your save folder as always.

Once you are inside the save file, all you have to do is click FORWARD and the event has already begun. You are free to roam around the mall before or after you're done with the happy event if you want to.

AFTER the event is over, make sure you SAVE again and leave this file in your game, make sure to ALWAYS have a Mall save.

I am not the god of save files, but I will always be available to provide a clean green route full save at the end of every update if someone fucks up.

May I ask how your meant to extract the file? Because when I did it turn the entire save file into a folder with a couple separate files contained in it.

You're supposed to download the save file, then put it inside the Saves folder, that's it

When I download it's automatically a zip file, so when I put in my save folder it didn't do anything
