I think some people overestimate both what one is capable of doing from a Renpy build and what Selebus "the programmer" is able to do. Not directed to you, but I'd like to share some thoughts on the topic since it's been brought up.

Welp, I'm about to start my third playthough of LiL to kill some time before the new year. It's just now coming up on a year since I first started playing.
I wonder how different these earlier events will feel after the rollercoaster that was Reset 7.

A lot of people got screwed over by that, and you feel the need to brag about it? Here? Just how much of a douche are you?As for whether he'd stoop to such things, that's up for debate but I doubt anyone expected him to delete ppls' saves so who knows.
Btw a few weeks before he did the save-deletion thing, I messaged him on discord advising him to do something similar because I thought it would be funnyIdk if I had any influence on his decision though

I downloaded 0.23 of LiL on Sel's Subscribestar, because I know this is the last version before he reworked a lot of Chapter 1. Entire events were deleted or altered. Because of this, I thought I'd look at the deleted content since I'm replaying the game anyways.
Anyway, as I looked through the files to see what was different, I noticed this:
The whole beginning of the game is completely different so far, so I'm curious to see how it holds up.

Odd. I remember it always being Maya.
I still have my old install of 0.23, but don't have a pre-rework save to consult. I'll need to run through chapter 1 again to see if it's Maya or Yumi on mine.

With how much of an irrelevance Sana has been in Ch4 as the newest cover girl, I've more or less convinced myself that being on the cover bares little significance.

Hey, don't lump me in with the poor fools who can't grasp the self-evident truth that Himawari's name is Ami. As I'm sure you remember, I've believed it for as long as I've been here. I just couldn't resist poking fun at your... enthusiasm for the theory.
For clarity, I'm 100% convinced that Himawari is not her real name. I think Ami is by far the most likely name, but there's still a chance that it's something we haven't thought of.
And on that subject, I noticed something when I was replaying Chapter 3.

Speaking of finding something unexpected from replaying, can any of you guys check your Ami's event Important Things or more specifically, an image file named "amisroomonefive25"? Mine looks...glitched.
At first I thought I doodled too much and might have overwritten something by accident, but I was thoroughly vexed when I found out that image files with the same name straight out of fresh downloads of v0.41, v0.42, or v0.45 from subscriberstar all look like that (in fact the the one in v0.45 is even more glitched); for now the only source I have that gives the "correct image" is an old v0.28 copy of mine.
I am guessing the reason why I now have the glitched image is because of the renpy upgrade that forced me to download the entire copy instead of simply doing update patch.

I mention it because as someone who has dabbled in programming, I know I could make detecting it months ahead really subtly / schizo'ly and then the actual lockouts crippling enough that I'd force someone else to spend an hour or so making a crack for it like they did for the current DRM. And the only thing stopping such a scenario is an ego trip.
And that I'm planning a playthrough where I try to grind up the ridiculous stuff (Ayane / Himawari events mainly but I might go for the sensei quest 'sex scenes' legitimately, and I don't want to also have to police my save file for red path instead of just using the guide mod which seems like a one way change. (Shampoo is also a fun thing to consider)
