Yeah. That was one of the bits that made me think about the question of how much reset knowledge if any Ami has at that point. If she were trying to get Akira worked up, you'd think she'd have teased him with this possibility, knowing how he'd respond.Noticed this during my replay.

Yeah. I get what you're saying. The tunnel vision is one of the problems with theorizing about a work in progress: confirmation bias is almost impossible to avoid. But hey! Theorizing is fun, and, LiL almost demands it, and at this point we can't be sure where the game is headed. So damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead!I do find it somewhat silly that you and everyone in your camp plus everyone who falls into Mooney's camp can ever claim or at least assume any degree of likelihood to either possibility. What Mooney showed was there is an explanation that can fit that suggests Ami has been aware all along, but it's all unprovable, no evidence definitively pointing one way or the other currently exists, the two theories rely on interpretations of the same evidence... so i ain't taking a stance, either works, both fit, no way to know which is right so it just feels foolish to me for anyone to even lean a certain way, reeks of bias and cherry picking to fit a preconceived and preferred outcome...
This is something i see quite often in this thread, lost in the joy of theorycrafting i feel too many people lose the forest for the trees... this isn't a personal attack or anything, you just happened to be the latest person to rub that particular gripe of mine and forced me to throw out my usual 'hey guys, take a step back from this stuff for a second and remember the big picture' reminder.
(As long as we all remember that these theories are hypotheses, not yet established textual fact.)
