Yes, I entered all that information. Then I get to a screen asking if I want to open a box with 1 click option. then 2 sillouites appear and I get text that I have the ability to [Dance] but no text box anywhere to enter. If I progress, the messed up Ami appears and tells me I messed up and asks if I read a guide or something. I missed my chance to progress by not properly investigating - but I thought I had hit everything.

After that the game just auto closes.

Got past it - I guess I hadn't clicked on every option during the reset after clicking Survive and was just progressing; if you do that it sends you into auto failure. Guess you need to open them all only way I got past it.
Just to be comprehensive. Special Ami softlocks you here if you get past the reset puzzle without seeing the happy event that contains answers to some of the questions you're asked (AKA you cheated with a guide 100%)

You can skip the other text boxes. And once you've viewed that happy event once you won't be forced to watch it again in the same install of the game

Chapter 4 Spoiler Below:

All of this while she's giving her "first handjob," but she clearly is experienced and pretending to be innocent. This is another point where I feel like Ami is giving away the game when you know about Chapter 4 stuff.
Euh...

okay, now I understand. Indeed, it seems that the game will check for flag "persistent.lesson1" in the middle of "backwards dancing". I didn't even know Selebus invested time into doing this.

Well, ironically, I recommend that you follow both the guide mod, and puzzle guide, as following them will protect you from this idiocy. URM will also alert you for these kinds of things being called and enable you to bypass them yourself. But I'm glad you managed to solve the issue nonetheless.
I once again must counsel everyone to NOT use URM, ask for advice or look up for answers if needed.
Any foreign additions or discrepancies to the game files gives rise to a risk of losing your save folders.

LUL, its just "Maya is a Nerd" written on the board. Its nothing more than it being clipped off by Ami's head.

Unless....

I know, it's just that... well, Selebus choose that angle and didn't remove, or displace, the board.
Even if I don't believe in that theory, it should be somewhat intended. As a false flag or not.

And I'm surprise our Nodoka-like didn't take that in his theory.

this makes no sense, URM only allows you to manipulate flags and values from the game itself. Even IF Selebus went to the effort of implementing redundant checks to something through multiple variables (which he's unlikely to do following his programming history), you could simply solve the new issue through URM again.

Unless people go around messing with the code, nothing is likely to go wrong just because you changed Ayane's affection points from 50 to 100, and yet didn't add another 50 days or something. URM is a massive help to anyone playing this game (especially for showing you the call for variations and allowing you to see different options within the same event - which does not change anything in the first place) and I see no valid enough reason to create a discourse where we should spook uninformed people about it.

Everyone should just backup their save files before playing any update as that would solve 100% of any possible issues (including possible checks for any sort of file like the guidemod or URM in the LiL folder - because the guidemod is also a foreign addition, might I add). I'd rather see people encouraging newcomers to do that instead, since they should be doing it even if playing the game completely vanilla.

Did anything mind-blowing happen in 0.46 or 0.47? It has been nearly four months since I've last played LiL. Stopped at 0.45 in November. I don't remember much, I'll have to play CH4 again, but I won't make it in time for 0.48.

Anything truly major since then?
Seeing a lot of talk about 0.47 but less about 0.46. I'd say nothing "mind blowing" but some severely interesting stuff definitely. You should definitely play, maybe slowly so you get the missing invite animations from 0.48. After 0.48 there's going to be a month break for care package tier content before 0.49

0.48 should be interesting based on the previews. Maki doesn't seem to be ruining the sex potential of the update.

Yeah. URM is fantastic for looking at dialogue you'd miss but you should never use it to pick your path in the game. Make sure you roll back to before the dialogue splits.

So many people in the past couple months alone talking about how URM said there was a choice and now they're missing events when the split was to decide whether a person has missed an event in the first place.

People need to be better educated in that, I agree. It's probably because they believe that by "choosing" a path when URM calls for it, they're gaining everything related to the path, but that is not so.

But then again that's not URM's fault, but the user's for not understanding what they're doing. In that case, they should just ask us for help, as one did recently regarding the amifingered and good homie paths.

This is wrong, URM makes no changes to game or save files, it introduces nothing Selly could detect and it can be removed at any time without the game having any knowledge of it being present or ever having been present... you don't know what you're talking about and so you should not be giving anyone advice about it.

For instance, you could choose to watch the Himawari scene on "post nut clarity" through URM even without the necessary Ayane points, but that would not give you the Ayane points, it would simply force the scene to play. Flags coming from the Himawari scene would be granted to you, if I recall correctly, but not the prerequisite for them.
The danger comes when there is a unique flag set based on the path that was taken. For instance when 0.46 released, that scene in particular ended up with mayablock being removed if you watched the Himawari scene, and being left enabled if you just saw the regular scene. (fixed in 0.47 with autopatch and both paths setting the same variables)

In that instance, URM'ing the Himawari scene and committing instead of rolling back would result in mayablock being removed from your game. If Sel actually intended this, he could also query later whether ayane_love < 3000 and mayablock == False and if that returned True, you'd be a cheater and Sel could do with that information whatever he wished.

Looking is fine as long as rollback / previous saves exist and are used. Otherwise it's a gamble and losing once can cause unintended behavior that you'll almost never figure out since it can't happen in regular gameplay.

Stop rolling back after making them. Every variable state is remembered per text of dialogue that you can roll back to. If you make 100 edits and then roll back to the frame where you made them you irreparably lose all 100 changes. Same thing happens with looking at phone messages except those work outside the normal rollback system so you wouldn't even notice as you roll back to the frame where you checked the photos.

This is a example of religion the game would be proud of, providing answers to a world they don't otherwise understand without the kind of proof that would convince people to stop questioning it. You're even defending the 'truth' from the 'heathens'

That just shows a lack of imagination, and that arrogance is costing your reputation.

Probably because people like you are trying to do what you're trying to do.
You say my imagination is lacking? and what is your not lacking imagination? or you here to be just annoying?

will you keep changing account everytime I beat you?
one advice. when you start defending yourself from alt account dont stop posting from all the others.
you are making it too obvious, it is embarrassing Im gonna puke

Ok you're actually crazy. If I'm an alt, find my original account. Then get some help while you're at it, maybe some grass to touch.

'terminal 23 is a therapy session...'
in Hand of God yasu mentions how sensei used to pray and when he was granted what he wanted he wanted to turn back, he was ungrateful of what he prayed for and blah blah. so i guess maybe, just not in the way this person is writing it out to be. lessons in love is made for the sole purpose of saving the world, so i dont think LiL is a therapy session for sensei.
what are you talking about?
you didnt even read my post. those have nothing to with what I said.

lesson in love is therapy session for not sensei it is for Nozomu(terminal 24 akira)
"saving world" means saving nozomu.

terminal 23 is room with clocks/kumon mi. it is nozomu's blackbox.
terminal 22 doll house is akiras blackbox. yuu's world.

all terminals connected they exist at same time.
it is infinite beautiful universe based on human mind.

It is like I am talking to a wall.

'remember how gods are waiting for hima to be born'
no i dont.
himawari is working for 3 god. rabbit family inside akira's head another reference to 3 god.
Himawari message clearly her not being born yet.
they are obviously waiting for himawari to wear "birthday" crown.

Wait... oh don't tell me I could have taken the shampoo from the reset after all. Just not visit the dorm's twice and I would have been fine.
Oh fuck, I could have...

Well fuck me I guess. That shampoo thing was just a illusion of choice situation. How much longer is he planning to hold onto that and should I find a spot to URM in the bottle after all? Would I need to flip some flag for the dorms visit during the reset to avoid any weird conflicts too? If anyone knows, please let me know.
Taking the shampoo is a trap, it potentially leads to missing events and stops you from visiting the dorms after the camping trip. You can only remove it during the upcoming reset puzzle if you actually kept it the entire time. I just did some science on my playthrough and found there's a way to green path taking the shampoo but all you get is two unique lines during that beach trip.
You can choose between two good lines of dialogue, or dorm sex while sensei is depressed. If you don't remove the shampoo during the reset, you will start missing events in the next event chain, and if you did take it then remove it during the puzzle, it requires perfect play in between the two chains to not miss the event (5 molly blowjobs in the dorms immediately)

tl;dr be happy you didn't take it. It's the intended experience.

Tsukasa had options similar to this... And of course that also makes you miss the event. Are we absolutely sure following the green path and not missing any events is the way to go? Is this just a game about embracing every creepy fetish known to man to get the good ending? That IS what this is, right? Green path = good ending, bad beginning/midgame?
Know 100%? no. Guaranteed to be a 'good' ending? No. Probably the best ending based on feedback from green path results? Yes. Io's events in 0.47 have an example of this.
I am still confused by that Maya image... Her face implies "I'm having sex right now" but you don't actually see that and it keeps getting brought up.
It's implied to be an important moment they share. Whether it's their first sex or maybe Maya's first love confession / "Will you never leave me?" speech is to be decided. The first time we see it is a time where Maya Prime breaks character and is prepared to have sex with you.

No, though I've only been here since November of last year so *shrug*

Also isn't GSwole the person pretending or actually Sel's alt account and that weirdly aggressive Elric person is now being a prick to them as well. This might actually be fun to see and if GSwole really is Sel even more so.

Ok, i know i was mocking the guy earlier but i actually think Elric is having some kind of mental health episode or something right now, they're convinced everyone is an alt, and they're jumping from thought to thought without making actual sense... i genuinely think something is off about them right now, they were annoying previously but this seems different... no one here is going to be in a position to help them or to get them the help they need but i think we could all make it worse by feeding into it i.e. dismantling what they're saying, forcing them to respond and dig themselves deeper into their concocted narrative... unfortunately i can't see what anyone can do except not responding to them or reacting, either positively or negatively to anything they say... i know that just sounds like a dick move but if none of us can help, the least we can do is not make it worse... i'm not the boss though, do what you will, but try to be conscious of what you say and how that can affect someone who might not be 'with it'.
