I'm not even sure that's the better answer. Ami's goes full Yandere whether you sleep with her or not. Turning her down may actually get some of the girls killed as she spirals deeper and deeper.

I agree with you about your mod.
your mod objective is to be a walkthrough so it help players still experience the game fully but in a easier way. Btw if no merging is done that is fine, I didn't change any of your original code, I just moved the gallery code from one place and created a second file and it worked lol.
I just think that separating screens.rpy into two files it would increase your compatibility to other mods. Though its not your fault from the start that this problem exists (no offense to the game owner kk)
my opinion here is that all gallery original code should not be in screens.rpy, like I said if they are separeted it will be easier to do compatible mods for this game (correct me if I am wrong), this, of course, would imply other modders to understand this change and do it too, if at all necessary kk

All attachments are for v0.18.0p2 and Gallery code is in an independent file.
Backup the file screens.rpy before overwrite it.
To remove my changes or if an error occurs just delete my four files and replace with backup file.
Use only one of the 3 attachments.
This will not affect saved games progress
Just copy the files, in the zip you choose, inside /game folder and overwrite if needed.
Attachments 1 and 2- (for any of this two to work, you must install Progress and Guide Mod first).
1- it is the merge between Progress Mod and gallery unlocked Mod (4 files).
2- it is the Progress Mod without any gallery changes, so it unlocks the scenes while you progress the game as normal(4 files). You see changes if you load a saved game.

3- Original game screens.rpy, but with the changes I made and without any mods installed.
I expect this works at least on the windows version and not only in my PC lol(I can't test in other platforms).

I'm going to say that, from a narrative point of view, the sex (rather than the pr0n) is central to the plot. In a lot of ways, Selebus is taking us on a deconstruction of the whole H-game mindset: If it moves, I fuck it. Sensei starts literally thinking of this as a harem game — and even as he continues to rack up the affection points, lust points, and virginities, the girls actually manage to make him (and us) care, and care deeply. Even crazies like Kirin and Ami — since it feels as if they become monsters (as opposed simply to very messed up young women, like the rest) in response to Sensei's actions. Which he can't seem to control. I'm watching him continue to stalk characters like Chika and Sana, who seem genuinely sweet, with a combination of fascination and horror. I know it won't end well. He knows it won't end well. But I can't seem to turn away any more than he can.
I don't think that this game would have the same impact without that journey, from Sensei treating the other characters as low-level AI to treating them as wounded human beings — but still deepening their wounds.
You mean the Futaba event where Yumi was compared to the one person she hates more than herself and rightfully exploded, given the backstory? Gotta say, Sensei handled that one just right cause even though Futaba didn't mean it in a bad way, I have full understanding for Yumi exploding as she did given her backstory.
It's not good that she did, but boi can I understand her in that case. A lot of Yumis behavior, as (self) destructive as it is makes a lot of sense by now.
She was basically having a complete emotional breakdown in that moment and reacted the only way she knew how to, and I actually applaud Sensei for doing the sensible thing there and not pouring oil into the dumpster fire that was Yumi in that very moment. It would have solved nothing and probably would just have broken her even more. At least that way he could explain the situation to Futaba and have Yumi a chance to come down a bit

I don't think I've reached the event you're talking about. I just commented after how yumi has been behaving with sensei and futaba so far. Her constantly bullying futaba and shit behavior towards sensei is what pissed me off. If it was upto sensei she would have been expelled by now due to low attendance.
I don't know what happened to Yumi in the past but she's not supposed to take out her anger on everyone. I am not a fan of Dom route but please tell me there's a dom route for Yumi. This fuckface certainly don't like when people are nice to her.

You seem to have run into the same problem as me. To get the answers to the stuff in Grow, you need to go through Survive first. Not all of the answers are in the lead up to the choice between survive and grow. I was completely lost about how to find the answers to the questions, too, since I picked Grow first, and wondered if I'd missed stuff.

More specifically -- everything you need to pass this section is avaiable within the scene leading up to the Survive/Grow choice or in the happy scene triggered within it.
Most importantly -- two of the pieces of information you need are on a screen right at the beginning of it with the words "WRITE THIS DOWN, THIS IS IMPORTANT"
Oh well, in the case I won't go into any more details and apologize for what I spoilered already.
Just watch the events unfold, a lot will make sense with time. You might not like it, but you'll understand. She does like people being not mean to her, alas she just doesn't trust it at all because so far, none aside the Chosokabes ever was nice to her without any backthoughts and because she does not want to be (even more of) a victim, she decides to be the aggressive insufferable little brat that she is and you've come to hate. Give it time, you might change that perception. Or not, but you will understand.
Enjoy the scenes though, Yumis arc, as lacking as it still is, is among my favorites (together with Io,

ya my bad kind of lost it havent been to bed yet although no excuse for way i acted there..anyways so is there a way to disable what ever it is that causes the game to go all funky?wish i knew about it before i started playing id of skipped this game entirely

Nah I feel as tho the sex is just put there to grab folks faster than any other approach, but again judging by how every has been receiving the game throughout this entire process, it seems it was unnecessary. Everyone here is still praising the game and even saying the sex is something they skip past.
You can just imply alot of what happens and just go from there without even needing the sex or show it since it seems to be the low point for alot of people on these forums. In some instances, this could have been put on a higher platform if you took the sex out entirely.
The H scenes are important specifically because it's like DDLC. This game is a denpa, like DDLC. DDLC comes at you pretending it's a dating sim, then boom, horror, this game comes at you pretending it's only an eroge, then boom, horror.
Also, the sex actually has plot relevance here. See Makoto, Ami, Ayane.

The sex stuff is too deeply entwined with the story for it to be considered superfluous, again, this game is taking the idea of the harem genre and just twisting into the most grotesque and dark form it can.
Most of what goes wrong for Sensei is a direct result of him sticking his dick into every hole regardless of circumstances, we're kind of bystanders in the whole affair but generally speaking we act like Sensei when we play most harem games, the twist here is that they're not just sock puppets that revolve around Sensei, they have feelings, dreams, hopes and aspirations and the personal drama that surges from that and an amoral MC is what drives the plot.
