If you use only the update patch, the game will play mostly fine -- it will crash to desktop on animations, but you can play through the update content, and the biggest issue will be that the game will take an eternity to start or load.

If you download the complete file (all 12 gb), you don't need to do anything else.

Were you using a mod, and did you reinstall the mod before trying to load the save?

No. I don't use mods. I literally just downloaded the full game zip from here. All my saves were unmodded too, up to .41.0

I just downloaded the entire game again, and tried to save into new .42 event. And the error code appeared once again.

So for some reason none of my saves worked this update. Which sucks. However some king a few pages back uploaded his. Thank you. It let me play the update. That said, he went green path and I skipped the Io scene. Does anyone have a save with that 1 missed.

I know I could download the tools and find a way to change it myself, but after spending three hours deleting, downloading, extracting and playing the game, I just don't have it in me to run the whole gauntlet at the moment.

Selebus does not use any new things from renpy and most likely will not, so it will still be possible to play on the old version, but for those who want to update renpy (this version is the same as the one now in the game)

Place these two files in the folder where the game exe is located and run the bat file.

If you do not want to run strange files, then delete Lessons_In_Love.exe Lessons_In_Love.py Lessons_In_Love.sh renpy lib from the game folder and unpack the archive with the new version yourself.

But at the end of the slumber party, I think sana got soft reseted? And everyone's memory got slighly altered too? But why? Ayane in the morning also says yumi was the only one who didnt interrupt them when they tried to talk which shows that something got changed

Yeah, when I saw her eyes go wide I thought something was gonna happen then forced forget but god damn that tease, also the screenshot is taken in a way that no matter what the player will notice it unless they never pay attention to background details, although what I'll be surprised is if someone didn't make the connection between the toy and her.
