I... don't think I can do my normal reaction post to this. Is anyone actually interested in reading what could be a 100k characters unprofessional raw reaction spoiler to everything that happens? Because judging by the fact I've reached 60k before and this is supposedly longer and apparently very story rich and reaction worthy, this could reach 100k easily, unless that part about it being much longer than any other visual novels or avns was an overstatement. Like I find myself wanting to comment about lots of what Ami says and well... Reactions keep me going but is also a huge waste of time. Ehh...
If you're asking if we'd be interested in reading someone posting their first reactions to the game here, it is actually something quite common in this thread. I can't say for sure if we'd all be interested on it in the long run, but we surely wouldn't mind it. Just be aware that if you expect us to comment on it, especially given that it's your first time playing it, you should include either the name of the event or more or less where you are in the game - so that we know what not to say yet.

Oh no, I don't mean like, make a separate comment for every little thing here, I mean make one giant spoiler when I played through up to the current version, everything written live in the text document to be copypasted here. You can look at my profile's comment history and you will understand. So I mean, if you are interested in reading what could quite possibly be 10k words or 100k characters or more, then I could do that, the problem is I've wanted to comment about almost everything so far. I'm not quite sure I would be willing to be specific about where I am. Honestly I feel like there's just gonna be so much text I'm better of biting the bullet and just post something when I reach the end. There are up and down's for each alternative.
It funnier when you have only 20 post per page and there are 2355 pages currently xd Also a tip if you are going to start the game, URM and puzzle guide at page 1 are your best friends, you could add the guide mod too to try not missing things (but then you can only load saves having it, like if you get a fresh instalation and dont add the guide mod when you did previously saves it wont work)
Also normally every 1st of month there is a new update, sometimes the dev takes 1 month of vacation between updates

It feels like most users on the site opt for the default 20 posts per page but I've made that 100 just for convenience in ctrl+f/g.
Not sure what URM is but I did open up the puzzle guide and get the guide mod. Yeah I know how guide/walkthrough mods tend to work. I always just wait for the mods to update. Better than playing blind.
That is indeed a frequent update schedule but that's good for my memory. Leaves less time for memory decay as I've noticed every passing month my memory fades. What is now the middle of summer are memories I have mostly forgotten. What was 3 months ago leaves my memories foggy. A month or two ago I can usually remember or connect the dots quickly.

This. It helps you change some values ingame and tells you when there is a choise or could be another path (like if you choose one thing or another). Its very helpfull to make the grind less tedious (like sometimes you have to farm a lot of points with characters or they are only available some days and you have to wait to keep grinding it). Probably it could be explained it a better way but im not good at it xd

I'm replaying and I just grind things myself as I simply don't mind it (two specific Himawari events aside). But URM is extremely useful for replaying, as it lets you see variations. For a first playthrough, it will come to be VERY useful in chapter 4, as the puzzles become even more idiotic and URM lets you solve them with minimum effort. But other than that it isn't that necessary.
The guide mod is though, and you should be checking your "Hints" menu after every event to choose where to go next.
IIRC, the original version of that scene had Rin on her bed when you walked in, and it was one of the scenes changed during the rework of Chapter 1's first half.
So, I always thought that Karin was boring, but I have to say, I don't know if it's just paying more attention or the fact that I know that they were pretty much the one couple (Ami aside) in an entire cycle, but I see this as very wholesome.
Also, if you think about it, Karin was extremely forward in a sensible manner. She asked Akira out on a date, despite her issues, and not in an insane way like her sister either. It's very believable. Good for her. I guess we can attribute a significant part of that to the Nodoka compulsion effect though.

Youre in good company here. Put them in nested spoilers and you should be fine screenspace wise. Post your reactions to the story as it happens and people will love you here. Here's a redacted zoomed out reaction someone else posted about the latest update
Maybe in general, but there's some lost dialogue here too. There's no caughtchanging scene this would have been called from, nor is there a afterchange scene. Something about this dialogue Sel specifically wanted to retcon
yes, it's from this event that we made the connection that Maya ran away from home after being molested by a family friend and was taken in by Akira. The bench/drink he offered her is likely where she takes him after their first box run, which she says that "it's the only place in town that has that particular drink". But, mostly, we think it's likely that their first meeting was there because it would make sense that she'd take him there to test his memories (as it would be one of the strongest places to take him).
The last part of that narration though was often taken to mean what would happen if Akira hadn't taken her home (to the tutoring place). Nice catch regardless. All of this might be a lie though, since we know that Maya shouldn't exist, and likely hadn't at first. So this could all be more a "Maya legend", that they believe happened, rather than something that actually did.
