Gonna do something a little different from now on. I will now be posting my updated tierlist. It includes the basics likes if I've seen them, if I've spoken to them, what I liked, noticed or dislike about them and the further up the list they are, the more I like them as a character and looks combined. If I find myself wanting to see more of them for whatever reason they will be higher up, simple right?

Ayane is a keeper! She's been right behind Maya and Niki as my favorite for a long while now. I have a feeling I may like her purity route the most in the end.
I agree, tier lists are difficult. I cant do one, most of the girls change spots to fast after we get past my top 3.
I have said this before but Akira can't do anything before he figures out his deal with Sekai. I had a girlfriend explain this to me once, that some people are so lost in their own hell that all they can do is bring others into hell as well (often not even aware that they're doing it).
Regardless if that is true or not, Akira is still trapped in his relationship with Sekai. He doesn't want to have children, he doesn't want to get married, he doesn't want to have a life, he doesn't want to live because there's no real Akira here - Akira is still in that moment of seeing the car tumbling around. He never left.
So that's the big issue. He can still act on instinct (lust), and recognize that some things are wrong (often things that were done to him aka things against one's will). But that's the measure of it, as a shadow there's not much that he can do, especially changing.
In fact, I think the Akira that ended up marrying Sekai didn't solve his issues either. But that's a hunch, there's not enough to go around. It's just a feeling I have.
Now, what's interesting to me, that's also been talked about before is that he mainly deals with these issues on the green path. "Stomachache" and the one event with him showering Chinami (in which she straight up addresses his pedophilia so well that many think that was Himawari). Will that eventually make a difference as to Akira's end between green and red path? It remains to be seen.
And he seems to block her out even more than Sekai. Considering the Sky background, Religious, and Upside Down connections, his Mother might be far more important than has been revealed.
Putting a few implications together, I wouldn't be too surprised if she violated him due to him reminding her of his father, who may have left her for/cheated on her with Sekai's mother, Miu.
Not to mention; Ami talks about grandma at times like she's notable (and somewhat acts like her). Albeit, recent revelations could suggest she's referring to Miu instead of Saki, but I doubt it due to the religious connection. Miu's most defining trait was probably being scared of everything to the point that she's thrown up at school.
Saki was peculiar even back in the previous game, 'Nothing is Beautiful':
Plus the Whales, Religious stuff, and Plants, etc, references, also seem to come from her.
Overall: Sensei's issues probably predate Sekai, with her just being more prominent now that he's finally acknowledging her.
Of course, there's also the potential mental illness that seems inherited from Sensei's/Akira's father, on top of this, but Saki may have been his first abuser. Then there's his problems with Nozomu, and Sekai. Then there's the Maya stuff, and whatever else.

As far as Halloween costumes go I think I like Tsuneyo's "The Mortal Wombat's" one the best. There's Probably a lot of recency bias in that, I cant remember more than half of them so I might be forgetting something better. Maya Mona was pretty good as well.

This thread is fun to read and catch up on, also damn that is a lot of previews and making me reconsider waiting for a few updates and just playing as they come out. I am torn, was thinking for waiting till maybe March or May and pick up the game again but each preview and discussions around them are tempting me lol.
Honestly I'd just keep playing, this is a repeating cycle and you'll either be waiting years in the cold or joining us in the lobby. We have cookies here.
Does Makoto remember her attempt? I know she gets a flashback of it during one of the latest resets but otherwise it seems that she totally forgot about it after the reset she attempted before, only getting a whim of it till the later reset.
Does she think it was a dream, or does she remember?

The problem is you're skipping the epic updates. Last updates was the halloween / reset. This update is the christmas / aftermath of reset / maybe wizard content starting.
Next month is merely sexual progress with someone who hasn't been sexualized (unless Sel sells hard and gives Maki another scene) and animations so maybe new dorm / invite sex scenes.
No need to change your mind, she's obviously a very good girl, to a fault even. I just don't tend to like timid girls (and the "devoted wife" trope overall); being an introvert myself I like girls that don't let me be in my comfort zone 24/7.
And apart of finding her a boring character in this VN, she has the problem that she reminds me too much of my first gf (well, she wasn't that hot obviously) who was very nice but... wouldn't work out and didn't end well (all my fault).

I'm probably gonna play the next update but depending on how much content is there (Which does look like a fair bit) That's when I'll have a better idea if I want to wait or just play it monthly with everyone, there are some games on here I play every update cause it gives enough content for me to enjoy and others I leave for 3 or 4 updates to cook and fill my appetite and avoid cliffhangers.
I must not be far enough into the game to get this impression and I'm not getting the impression his nearly as horrible as I was told he is. Bad, sure, but it could be a lot worse. Some of the things he says occasionally are quite vile tho. And now that I think about it, his incredible lack of selflessness.
