Yeah, it's just the whole everything that came before it was kinda suffocating and I needed a breather. idk if my wall of text conveyed that but I was kind of a mess mentally. because I genuinely cannot remember what I wrote, only that I wrote a lot.
I understood. What I'm worried about is you having that kind of reaction before the events that I would have imagined giving you that reaction. I'd have imagined you completing chapter 3 and then having that day long or so break so you can fully unwind after the tension has released. Doubling up on suffering because of an unfortunate time to have a break would have been bad. The start of chapter 4 is rough if you just decide to experience the chapter 3 ending and then just keep plowing onward.
Or 3. Sekai was the reason that Mr. Tojo developed a fondness or tenacity for tori shio ramen. Dun dun duuuuuun
How can you not when an otherworldly hot redhead kept showing up to your restaurant for a dish which she would've whored herself for if you charged her extra. Won't you want to personally perfect it so that she kept coming back?
Anyway enough for the gibberish; I'd say Kaori knowing tori shio ramen is more likely under Sekai's influence, but only because from a player perspective this deduction is a lot more tangible. As in, we've seen redeye Kaori showing up for the dish, and we've seen Sekai personally tells you how much she loved that dish, and we've seen Pareidolia confirming Sekai's existence inside Kaori. Comparing this to Wires: we haven't gotten the key confirmation that can finally cement the idea that Mr. Tojo is the second god, instead of some other ideas like simply being a follower of Wires, a victim of Wires, or a host of Wires. Tsuneyo's hinted mysterious origin might indicate Mr. Tojo's identity also not being ordinary, but still a direct confirmation is not here yet.
I'd be 100% onboard to the idea that "Something other than reset happened to Uta, but it was cleared by the reset" if the omen of that "something" was more prominent. Makoto's mania, Chinami's sickness, and Mr. Tojo's presumed demise were all very noticeable and very noticeably gone after a reset, but not whatever Uta allegedly encountered. It feels like a strange development decision to deal with things so offscreen like this, both the emergence and the resolution of an issue that is really worth expanding upon onscreen.
And I honestly forgot that Ayane brought this up before the reset as well, good catch (this also confirms that Ami wasn't a manipulative little biatch that lied about this, for whatever reason she may or may not have). But yeah, unless there are more telltale events that evade me, I don't think a decisive answer is within grasp.
Side tangent: I thought about the idea of attributing Uta's absence to an under way reset a little more. The only bone that I would pick on this is that according to Maya Prime, when people disappear during a reset, even the information related to them is gone without a trace. She must've done the legwork to procure such a conclusion if she also figured out that the pictures in HER journal went away. If Maya Prime is absolutely right about it (which is not guaranteed), no one should be able to contact Uta or know who Uta even was when information wipe claimed her.
However, a viable counter point is that Maya Prime's legwork regarding this was possibly done only after she regained consciousness. The deletion process by then was most likely already completed. She perhaps never witnessed character popping or never cared whether such thing might be observable by people other than herself or not (proven in All Around the Mulberry Bush that character popping can be observed by regular folks, and the information of the popped character is not immediately gone).
Also, what kind of world is this that erases Uta before Osako? I call BS.
Ah-mee, basically a=ah // e=eh// i=ee // o=oh // u=oo
in the same way, like Uta and Io which have been confusion in the past----> Oo-tah, Ee-oh
I never had a problem and it was a bit of a cheat on my part, since japanese and spanish have the same phonetics and I am a native of the latter. So it's tricky for english natives.
Amy ( eɪmi ) even though it makes no sense since they are all Japanese names, but that's how I began reading it so it's stuck like this forever, literal head canon.
I don't have this with any other character, but now it makes me wonder if anyone pronounces Uta like the US state and that idea makes me giggle.

Gonna stop posting the written section of the tierlist from now on unless there is something new to add. Character notes will only be added at eoc I think.
ok that was an experience time to keeeeeep going... this... is my longest post by far and this... whole thing was a mess for my mind and I cannot read anything I wrote because it's all blurring together. this goes from the start of the reset event to the point where... semi-normal gameplay starts where you can click the buttons and trigger events : ) I'm scared.
Wait, they live in the US? Are you absolutely sure about that!? So it's not Japan, it's not some weird amalgamation between Japan and the US? That's fking weird. How will I cope with this fact?
Not sure if this was in reference to some joke or something but in general they're very much in Japan, though a fictional city in Japan at least. Most of the class is natively Japanese, and Kyoto is a city that is mentioned at some point.
I don't think I noticed this but I'd believe it. It took me seeing a specific Maki scene to have me break immersion when I noticed it was being reused.
OH, OH NO!
Rin: "Woah! Maya-advice! Is this what it feels like to be Sensei?"
Maya: "I don't know. Do you suddenly have the urge to molest the entirety of our class?"
Both go silent, Rin suddenly looks to the side blushing and Maya gives a disappointed look. Oh no, am I wrong for interpreting that as if she DOES have the urge to do that?
Had an interesting thought. You think all the explosions in the air sending small shockwaves may have somehow hit the ground, shaking it on a small scale we cannot see but that was somehow enough to trigger the sinkhole?
Yep, Watabe sounds familiar. I can already tell she's gonna be the interestingly depressing type who hates her job and probably talks badly about her students and is dead on the inside or whatever. I mean, the eyebags and the skull is a dead giveaway.

I will say.. I am glad I took a break when I did. I kind of wish I was able to take more breaks. It's currently 4 am and I will not be able to sleep for a while.
I am never going to refer to Ami as Ah-me, even if it's correct, Ay-me sounds more better and I've been calling her that for nearly a year on this thread and while playing the game, it's like calling Roblox "Rob-lox" (incase you don't get it, this is a reference to when Roblox was on the news and the reporter referred to it as Rob-Lox) but instead Rob-Lox (Ah-me) is correct (if it is)
I'm not particularly into emo/goth but I ASSUME alot of people including me want to she her fucked silly/folded like a pretzel like Otoha so at least you're not alone.
Speaking of pretzels once I ate one, like the day after I talked about them, the one I got was fucking horrible, it was REALLY salty.
Anyways I'll be gone until New Years + Eve is over, so until then, Happy New Years!
