If you're referring to the below scene, then yeah, I got the same vibe.I think there is a real sense of moving into an "endgame" sort of. Obviously not the ending to LiL yet, but in the sense that everyone kind of knows about everyone, and there was even a reference to the purity routes (although not by that name).
Updated for 0.46. Shouldn't be hard though. If you are looking for new animations, they are in the Dive Bar (Imani) and Kirin's Invite overI am a bit bored of questions, so I made full chapter 4 walkthrough (0.45). I promise to keep this post updated at least until chapter ends

I hate to admit it, but she definitely gets some brownie points this update. If you're referring to the below scene, then yeah, I got the same vibe.
Similarly to Kirin, Otoha gained a few points in my book by being fairly reasonable and, again, underlining how she really is the most teenage-like girl from them all, with the hormones and uncertainty and all, but without this inherent base attraction towards Akira. (also holy fuck, Otoha looks good in that outfit, especially when she started to fake-seduce Akira)You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
This is even directly mentioned earlier during the Christmas Party:

No obvious images in the patch look like happy event levels of fucked up Bingo is probably right.Would anyone happen to know how to find the newest Happy Event?
I have no idea how you lot handle this, unless you're saving in between every event. I like the game but not THAT much.Selebus, pls, i am ready to hit 1000 pages!!
I will end with more than 2000 pages i think.

I've had a bad night so I'm not putting in the normal effort I'd normally do. When Sel started making the game, he posted it here where it got a TON of exposure (and people pledging) to the point it's probably still the largest source of income the game has to this date. It's never gone viral elsewhere (to the point that a reaction image from the game went 300k retweets viral on twitter a month ago and we were wondering if something interesting would actually happen due to it)Interesting lore drop. I wouldn't mind more info on that actually. I recently searched something up that lead me to find that indeed he used to be on the page and did talk down the mods a bit but I don't know the context. It would explain why he complain about piracy so much, specifically the care packages.
First one has lore implications. Second one was just a music choice during a recap at the start / end of an update. I haven't seen whether this update rewards you for having the ayane lust or punishes you. It looks like she takes the scarf from Ayane which could mean she's stopping you from connecting to Maya but I'll have to see whether that's me reading the images wrong and the script actually portrays it as a good thing. So are those >3000 love events supposed to be just Easter Eggs or actual canon events for people who data mine (i.e. check URM or code)?
I haven't checked those out yet, but without having spoiled myself too much, at least this one seems rather insightful, I suppose?
Because if they are actually relevant to the plot, I'd find it a bit annoying to hide it behind something that you would only find out by tinkering in the code and also only realistically achievable by cheating.
I'd say it's relevant to the lore and it's canon, but it will not happen onscreen if you don't have enough Ayane affection points. And to prevent any future flag that requires 4-digit Ayane affection points, this is how much my Sensei loves Ayane now:So are those >3000 love events supposed to be just Easter Eggs or actual canon events for people who data mine (i.e. check URM or code)?

I spent 3 hours going almost from the beginning so I wouldn't betray her, and I don't regret it.
Love Rin.
I guess my willingness to look in the guide mod / the scripts is making me callous (though I manually ground out several thousands of Ayane Love before I started playing so I'm not leaving it to chance).shmurfer, Ever since I betrayed Rin thinking there were no consequences for my actions in this game, I began compulsively saving so I would always have a

It may be the kind of thing that's important to be there even if nobody finds it, so a sort of easter egg, but not any less important than any other scene of the game. Something that, logically or emotionally given base constraints, must be there for everything else to make sense or feel right. If we think about it, these scenes arise from some kind of demonstration of devotion for Ayane - someone has in fact grinded more than 10,000 Ayane affection out of genuine love for her. It may be that authorman feels it's important to reward or otherwise have consequences for such a display of devotion even if theoretically nobody were to find it, and in this sense, those using tools are violating this artistic intention as well. However, that too brings forth its own metaphor, like 'cheating' also being something that stomps on 'devotion.'So are those >3000 love events supposed to be just Easter Eggs or actual canon events for people who data mine (i.e. check URM or code)?

Oh, that overcomplicated BS with something about the mall? Yeah, i decided quite a while ago i dont give a shit. In case i really need it as a trigger i will just save edit. Cant be bothered about the mall at all.Nah, it's the Alexis event, but i can't be assed to explain it for the hundredth time, dude can do a thread search for 'Alexis'.
I don't think that's the case, Ayane doesn't remember anything from the reset so she's very unlikely to actually do anything with itIt looks like she takes the scarf from Ayane which could mean she's stopping you from connecting to Maya but I'll have to see whether that's me reading the images wrong and the script actually portrays it as a good thing.
It's less complicated than people make it out to be. You need to witness a line of dialogue in 0.45 which sets a persistent flag outside of your saves, and then you need to experience the great paredolia mall in actual gameplay, not a replay. Then you find a specific room which has an extra choice, and then you can do the happy event which gives you a persistent flag that says you've seen the event outside of individual saves (And unlocks an alexis profile outfit)Oh, that overcomplicated BS with something about the mall? I don't know how you can even play the game without the music, it's a huge part of it. Even if sometimes Sel turns into dick audio wise, but he's also a dick text wise and event wise sometimes. the gain is better than the loss imo.Ok, now I sympathize with you guys... those who play with the music on.
I respect you.
Truly.
I just un-mute the music seven seconds and I get murdering thought.
Remember I haven't gotten to that part of the update yet. All I saw from the images was Ayane looking sadly at the scarf, then himawari points at it and takes it away. Maybe it's touching once I see the dialogueI don't think that's the case, Ayane doesn't remember anything from the reset so she's very unlikely to actually do anything with it
with Maya suggesting a shopping "date", and remembering that Himawari was the one selling the scarf to Akira, I think it's much more likely she's trying to reforce the event we saw in chapter 1
Well, listening to some cheapmunck song during all the Christmas event... thanks, but no thanks.I don't know how you can even play the game without the music, it's a huge part of it.
