Seeing how this is going, im going to open the votes to see who you think will get de D first, Tsukasa or Tomoko. Probably Tonfa but Tsukasa doing it first to throw it at her sister face to let her know she deserve her place at her family would be interesting too.

I'm full sending Tsukasa getting the D first. Tobiko isn't actively searching Sensei out at this point.

* Several invite events still drop you at the Chapter 3 hub. Proposed solution: visit the Maid Cafe, it has a proper exit condition.

* People who refused Tsukasa in Failsafe erroneously get the tsukasacurious flag. No solution beyond waiting for the autopatch.rpy in the next release.

* Post-Nut Clarity should have a replay end trigger for the hidden scene, and should lift the mayablock flag for the normal scene. Also to be resolved next release.

These clear up quite a few things then

• The sandbox isn't supposed to be broken, so some of the theories that something happened recently and girls are acting out of character isn't quite as strong anymore (girls acting out of character alongside a intentionally broken sandbox could have been interesting)
• The tsukasa scenes were indeed supposed to be Groomer only and he isn't winding up for some Machiavellian plotline showing Tsukasa sex without intending to have any with her. (He's about to use TsukasaCurious a lot I think. This event will be the last time he spams tsukasaspring3 == True AND tsukasarefused == False and he hasn't even done it once yet)
• Sel is a lazy 'lazy programmer', copy pasting two sets of +affection increased, event flag setting, epilogue dialogue, skipflag setting.

If both paths are supposed to lift mayablock and both are supposed to end replays, then they become identical and should have been placed outside of the dialogue split in the first place, and then these bugs would have never happened.

Well good to know there isn't some meta event coming, and it also means people who grinded Maya affection last update weren't about to get bugged.

Does anyone have any new theories about Kyoto? As of 0.45 it seems likely that there were no plotholes/memory fuckery, and that it was simply a different timeline.

But i honestly kind of hate that, it feels like a copout answer and it significantly detracts from the scenes impact, since it's just something that happened to a different sensei with a different Sekai in a different world, by extension that also means that any information presented is meaningless, Sekai seems far more humane and kind in the flashback, but, again, that is not "our" Sekai, who knows just how different she and her relationship with Akira is in this world.

I think the Nakayamas are involved in timeline shenanignas just like Maya (if not the same timeline shenanigans) and we can't trust any flashback to Sensei's past. I wanna finish my playthrough before I drop a suspicion I have.

Okay that's definitely a bug with Autovn. Fuck that. Apparently autovn can make you go to the dojo to visit Osako even tho I don't have that option when visiting it, nor do I have her phone number. There should be literally no way for autovn to make me visit Osako right now.

There is a event where you're invited to Wakana's apartment, and then leave the apartment with Osako. If you have seen it you should be allowed to visit Osako at the Gym, otherwise yeah it is a bug. I don't think you'd be too far from unlocking it though.

Reached the ch2 winter beach event "Everything Ephemeral", saw the image spam at the end of it and saw one of them has a really hard message to read. Didn't get much results for the image name (everythingg7) or "Everything Ephemeral" in the search so this might be a message people had missed. I got rid of most of the "please stop playing the game, things will only get worse' pixels" (though there are some I missed, the second image makes them a bit easier to see), then whitened the distorted words which made it pretty readable.

When I imported the image into the editor the horizontal bars lit up bright white instead of the dull grey they appear as in my image preview. Found out it's because they're very transparent pixels and I had left a layer of white below the image. Gonna leave it here incase it's actually morse code or something but I don't think Sel's ever tryharded enough to leave a message like that in the game.

Well, I'm in my mid 20's. It probably wasn't very popular 10 years ago either and now it's probably a ghost time. I wish going to a character's page and looking at their events would also list main events where they appear. Been playing this game for years and it's hard to remember certain character's events.

And the fact that it would make it an easier and more pleasant experience for the reader pretty much guarantees that this feature will not be added.

So I take it I will have to replay this update on my effected save next month? I guess I could edit some variables but without knowing exactly what will be changed I think it will be easier just to replay it and skip through everything.

The Tsukasa proposed solution is basically like this:

if tsukasarefused == True and tsukasacurious == True:
    tsukasacurious = False

That means, you can just use URM to set the tsukasacurious flag to false and go about your day.

Ngl, I would love to see Akira change character for once, like Sana does during the DnD bits, and be a super chivalrous and energetic Paladin or something.
Or I mean, he could just begrudgingly partake in the DnD sessions and make crude comments and try to fuck every enemy into submission with his "giant club" as his main weapon.

Either way, I'm sure it would be pretty funny.

The second scenario seems much more in character for Akira, because the first one requires him to overcome his laziness and apathy enough to understand DnD lore so he knows how a Paladin is supposed to behave. But I totally agree that either way would be very funny.

Edit: Thinking back, Makoto's first kiss also felt like something out of a purity route, even more so due to the fact that it serves as a redo of "bluejay" with a happy ending.

Oh, I know. I'm also not blaming Selebus. He has probably more pressing priorities right now other than updating a glorified downloader ( comments, etc. on itch are disabled). I just wanted to mention that the game probably shouldn't be downloaded from itch.io at this point.
