Especially from replaying chapter 4 right now, Rin has been struggling with why not go after Akira, and that was a major point in the last update. From what has already been previewed from her events, Rin is going to talk to Chika about it - and one of two is true, either Chika will hook up with her (which I'm rooting for you, Rin), or she'll encourage Rin to hook up with Akira (more likely).

She is one of the options though. Chika will ask her about the threesome even, during one event in chapter 4 after Akira has "tutored" Chinami and Tsukasa (Rin and Chika are talking in the music room).

The options, btw, are Rin, Yumi and Ayane. And optionally Tsubasa and Chinami.

The following is a long analysis of an event that made me hate Otoha less, and even like Otoha more (?). Anyway, I don't mean to convince anyone, but I think I have a new perspective on her, that makes me even a bit sympathetic towards her character. Thought I'd share it is all.

What an unexpected throwback to my childhood. Yes, I'm old. But what else is new

I'm doing a replay right now and the way Sensei treats Chika is just reprehensible.

I agree, but one also has to note that Chika is kind of insane. Cause, okay, Akira never sits her down and straight up deny her claims - but he does try to dissuade her a few times.

When he tries to tell her about Niki is the most ridiculous one on the early-mid game, but everything surrounding them is kind of ridiculous if you stop to think about it, it was right in her face.

I think his treatment of Makoto is even more reprehensible, as he at least tries to support Chika and her family. They're both reprehensible obviously.

We should all find something to enjoy as much as Maya enjoys melons.

It is heartwarming, isn't it? And it also won't kill her, like Chinami obsessing over peanuts.
