I like the theory that Yumi is actually a bastard child of Tomonori, and is technically a Tsukioka. Yuki was completely passed out, right? And it wouldn't be too far fetched for the yakuza and the elite to rub elbows with one another. Perhaps it was a social event, Tomonori (or even multiple others, who knows) saw Yuki's unconscious and vulnerable form and just... took advantage.
Based on the stuff Tsubasa has said about Tomonori being a good man but boring, I think it's unlikely that he's been unfaithful to her, much less that he raped an unconscious drug addict in a yakuza den. She could be hiding it to protect the family name or something, but I don't think we've gotten any hints that he's more than he seems and surely we would have by this point in the story if he were going to be important.

Also, if Yumi looks similar to Touka because they're related, wouldn't that mean she's also related to Tsubasa, given Touka inherited her looks from her?
I still remember Tsubasa saying Yumi looked familiar at some point. Now I could be hallucinating it and it never happened because I have not been able to find when it happened.
[...]
Actually now that I think about it, did Tsubasa marry into the Tsukioka family? I don't quite remember.
I don't think Tsubasa recognized Yumi but she did recognize the name Yamaguchi.

Tsubasa's marriage to Tomonori was arranged when they were very young. She came from a family with similar wealth and social standing to the Tsukiokas and which was also obsessed with tradition. I think it's unlikely, but I guess not impossible, that she's from a yakuza family - while I can definitely see a family like the Tsukiokas having shady dealings with the yakuza, I think it would far too vulgar to openly intermarry with them.

Yea that must be the line I was looking for. You are probably right that it wouldn't make sense to have open ties like that. And with the recognising of Yumi that I thought had happened being eliminated, and that extra line from Touka. I think I can probably write off the bulk of those thoughts.

Here lies Lessons in Love, killed by Texas Law
Texas seems to be trying to overtake Florida in the "looniest state" category. They are also literally trying to ban students making animal noises in school because of a long-debunked rumor about schools providing litter boxes in schools for students who identify as "furries". It's even called the (never mind that they forgot to work the "S" into the name so the acronym works). I promise you, this isn't The Onion. That link comes straight from the Texas Legislature Online site.

here.

Fanfest link updated for March 17th!

A Nao-chan main menu cover is the only real addition to the link for today:

I don't know why, but I always have to laugh hard at Nao wearing a shirt that just says "shirt".

Welp looks like it might be time for another huggy boy type of venture. Lessons In Not Questionably Aged Girls. The main cast gets aged up 10 years and they're still in highschool becuase why not. Sel can continue to make his game without getting his front door kicked in by the feds and all washboards will be eliminated from the game. Everyone's happy.

I think Kaori ignores Maya rather than not seeing her completely because In Something Everyone Knows And Ignores (S.E.K.A.I) event, Sekai lectures Sensei, AMi and Maya. While she answers to Ami and Sensei, Maya's questions getting ignored like she doesn't exist at all. Towards to the end of the event, Sekai reacts to Maya, in the sense of she got annoyed by either Maya's questions, or Maya herself. So we know that Sekai can see Maya but chooses to ignore her.

In 0.44 or 0.45 it is confirmed that Kaori carries Sekai's organs and some form of Sekai which causes Kaori to act on Sekai's bidding.

So thats why people think Kaori involuntarily ignores one specific ponytail girl.
Good points honestly, I've forgotten about this idea a few times. Is it confirmed she has the organs of Sekai?
It'd make sense that Sekai would want to ignore Maya's existence, as she's who Akira took solace in.
I still remember Tsubasa saying Yumi looked familiar at some point. Now I could be hallucinating it and it never happened because I have not been able to find when it happened. But maybe it actually implies a connection between the Tsukioka family and the Yakuza. It would not be that surprising to me if the most powerful family in Kumon-mi had some ties to them, and if that was the case maybe Tsubasa saw kid Yumi at some point in the past. Also perhaps the arranged marriage for Tsukasa is with some high ranking person in the Yamaguchi-gumi.

Actually now that I think about it, did Tsubasa marry into the Tsukioka family? I don't quite remember. Maybe she was from the same family Tsukasa is now having the marriage arranged with. Maybe its a Yamaguchi-gumi family. I definitely have no supporting evidence for this theory. And I cant even find the one line of dialogue that may or may not even exist that put it in my mind in the first place. but perhaps its somewhat interesting.
I doubt it's Yumi, she's called a princess because she's a mafia princess not a long lost forgotten princess, this isn't a new thing to this game.
Not to mention her parents are well known.
It's more likely Rin and someone else who's parents we don't know.
Why are all the sex scenes skipped?
Wat.

All but confirmed. There's been a bunch of hints about how she was in the hospital during her childhood, that she was there because of a car crash at roughly the same time as Sekai, that Sekai was in a specific car during her car accident, that Kaori became a different person after the crash, how she has different / deer parts inside of her, how she is channeling Sekai's eyes and supposed personality, and then in 0.44 to double down on all of these, it points out how the big spider on her chest is hiding a surgical scar, so at the very least she has Sekai's heart (Google can show you the difference between heart transplant, vs lung and liver transplant scars)

Just needs the scene where we see photos of the police report and see both colors of cars of the accident so Akira learns this explicitly (Or maybe he'll actually make a logical leap this time)

This gave me an idea. A while back, there was a discussion about Ami knowing about everything from start or not.

Some people though that everything she says has a hidden meaning and it proves that she knows, and some thought people were just seeing what they wanna see after 0.45.

I think first reset is proof that Ami knows about resets and tries to manipulate sensei, by acting like the very start of the game like it was a hard reset.

And i know something happens to her at the end of Chapter 1 "Everlasting Love". Which comes up again in "There is Nothing" which she begs for help. And im not sure if it is even Ami.

If i remember correctly, there was 2 theories:

1- She knows everything right from the start.
2- She is gradually getting corrupted.

What if there are multiple Ami's trying to do something, and when they fail to do that, they get replaced?
Or what if its an on/off thing. Where we see normal Ami doing Normal Ami things. When something serious going on like Noriko invite over, Sekami takes over and cucks Noriko. This way she keeps tricking Akira, and keep Maya and Noriko from getting too close.

Is there any mentally unstable person willing to replay the game while taking notes on Ami, when she changes personality or has some suspicious dialog?

Those lines are really sticking out after the Kaori heart discussion I just had.

I mean Moonflare and I just finished replaying the game with that idea roughly in mind. There's a lot of sus moments but no smoking gun to recontextualize everything as she definitely knew from the start. Always knowing Ami is competing with slowly corrupting Ami and replaced during the triple moon Ami, and those theories could always be mixed to some degree.

I swear if Noriko somehow comes in second place....
To be fair, if Sel doesn't give second place the win this time he's missing out on a huge opportunity.
