I have to say that Where the Sidewalk Ends was one of my favorite things to read when I was a wee youngin'.
Friendly Passerby: "Hey buddy, looks like you took a nasty trip there, you okay? Lemme help you out real quick, and you'll be right as rain. So uh, what happened there?"
Person that isn't Sensei: "I just wanted to see what it was like to crater into the ground, so I found somewhere I could hit terminal velocity."
FP: "Well buddy, watch out, because you might land on someone, and then there'd be two bodies needing theri bones pushed back in."
PtiS: "I'll be sure to give people a heads-up before I hit the ground."
*both laugh hysterically*
