I honestly believed we'd never see Ayane's room in the mansion.

Also it never crossed my mind until Ami started trying to fuck the girls but man, I really wanna see Ami dom the girls. I wonder which girl is gonna be Ami's first and her chances. I'd say Nodoka might be the highest chance of accepting Ami's approach while Yasu is the least likely.

Oh dear, that mismatch of expressions does not bode well.

I'm thinking it's just Akira walking to them or something similar, it just seems so normalish, Imani just looks surprised that Akira's there while Chika is happy about it.

Of all the things in this game I can't stand, what really turns my completionist stomach is missed events.

Because when I play something and I liked it, I always want to at least 100% it, that includes going red path after green path, any endings LiL has weather it is 100 endings or 2, 17 or 1 secret endings, anything, I'll get it all. Because if I don't then it's like eating a chicken leg but leaving the bones which is stupid, eat the bones too.

I think we can probably trust the "memories" that the Xoanon shows us in "Mother's Milk", since its role is to be an observer and cataloguer of true experiences. From those we know that Sekai definitely abused him and was the one who initiated it, but apparently also loved him in some sort of twisted way.

I agree the rest of what we know is unreliable. In particular, I think it's possible and maybe even likely that the Sekai in Akira's head is Pareidolia creating a fictional version of Sekai using some amount of the real one taken from Akira's memories. Pareidolia likes to pretend to be others (the other gods, a narrator) and it fits with his name: we/Akira perceive human features (e.g. Sekai) emerging from something inhuman (e.g. a god/user/voice or whatever).

I'm also somewhat partial to the idea that Sekai might not actually be appearing in some scenes, but it's hard to tell for certain. We can be sure it's not all the time. She has too much influence and skin in the game otherwise. We're even shown that she "appears" before Akira and Ami at her grave to talk to Ami, but in that case neither can actually see or hear her (Although sensei might have noticed something strange? I can't quite remember.) Is this a different version, or just her loving Ami like a normal mother despite being kind of mental? I guess I'm saying I don't know how I'd differentiate in every case, and it might be ambiguous or non-concrete on purpose.

Pareidolia's name itself it very on-the-nose, though, unless it's to throw you off or just sound cool. So I think it lends credence to or plays into Akira's delusions. If you put on your tinfoil hat, you could probably even speculate that Pareidolia is literally 'an instance of pareidolia', and that every interaction with him and his appearance is simply 'made up' because it's Akira's mind interpreting something incorrectly or filling in information gaps (e.g. making up dialogue for him despite Pareidolia not actually "speaking," but communication/affecting him in a way he can't comprehend.) Or perhaps he doesn't even exist, and maybe someone else does, but Pareidolia is a stand in to explain the effects of that person's actions. Keep in mind that I'm not actually positing that as true, and I am a stupid ape. It's a fun thought, though.

What's a redline run? I be keeping an eye on here to see all the different theories and runs to see the different possible outcomes. Rn i'm going for 100% or close to it, is this like not having sex with anyone?

Redline run = Rejecting Sara, Rejecting Haruka, Bad Homie, going straight to the Onsen sequence without doing Abyss, not farming lust and so missing most of the lust scenes, etc. Trying to miss as many events as possible just to see the alternate dialogue.

I'm not 100% sure about the "betray Rin" thing, I think that's referring to the outcome that comes as a result of you trading nudes with her in the recent event, but I didn't actually exchange the nudes, so I'm going off what others have said. I could be wrong. I uploaded a save right after the death ball event for someone else in an earlier post if you want to download it and see if it works for you.

I am curious though, and am doubly curious about if Pareidolia would even consider a reset during his Spring, since it's supposed to be infinite. It might be that the other gods will try to forcefully change seasons with just one reset - we'll see...

That's what I think, Parry doesn't want a reset. I feel we will only get one this season, going into the next season when either working together or not, the other users force it.

Some of it is shitty programming.

My favorite example of this kind of inconsistency is that if you start a new game and visit any of the girls that have had a makeover in the dorms, you get their current post-makeover model in the generic, not the correct version for the stage of the game you're in.

Yes, I believe Sel has said he will eventually fix that.

I probably visited Molly and Futaba ten times between events this update since I didn't want to go see any other girl we haven't reconnected with. Chika, Ayane, hell almost all of them I feel makes no sense to dorm visit right now.

Has anyone yet mentioned Akira talking about becoming a Collector, in his discussion with Yasu? I can't pull up the scene right now for the context and exact verbiage but that's associated with Pareidolia, right?

I was thinking the Yasu events helped convince him to accept it. All the swim stuff.

Maya's so fucking adorable! And she actually put on her shrine outfit to seduce him !! I wonder if that's her plan to get her man back, I can totally see her doing that. That's a very Maya reaction as being his girlfriend for years and suddenly finding out there's like 20 girls trying to have sex with him.

I wonder though if that's her reaction to finding out he's cheating, or a reaction just to that possibility. Or just to Niki being near him tbh.

Pretty sure your saves are supposed to be backed up automatically. There's two save locations, not one.

The DRM wipes both, that's why there are warnings and we keep saying not to install the carepackages, just open the files on your desktop, don't add them to the game files.

I think the best option would be Tsuneyo's pajama top, the purple smiley face gives people very little to question (or google). Not really worth the risk though.

I have not finished the update so won't be reading the thread yet. But that Io event chain must be one of the most impactful things Selebus has written thus far. Then I played the Futaba event right after it and the juxtaposition of that was quite a strange thing to behold. Presumably deliberately so.

I also really liked the Second Noriko event. For me, at least so far, this has been a very good update. It's going to be strange when I read the thread if everyone hates it for some reason.

When asked before I said its from a manga I read and this girl is thousands of years old trapped in this body. She always tells the main character he is disgusting.

That's about as much as I have gotten into it with people other than my wife and my oldest daughter. I have told those two all about the story and I appreciate them for listening. I was very distraught back at the end of chp3.

Now that I think about it, there was a guy at work I explained the story to since he also had read some adult VNs.

You cant talk about this one on the AVN reddits and I find discord to be a confusing mess so I greatly appreciate this place we have here.

Edit: Shit I am also now reaching reaction limits. Happened earlier tonight and then I suddenly had some more 10 mins later. Is it a 24 hour thing or some other mechanic?
