OK, I've made a timeline draft due to the recent mass confusion regarding Noriko's presence in Kyoto.

Some disclaimers are:
1. This timeline is constructed under the assumption that there is no time fuckery or developer oversight or any other shenanigan. I.e., assuming everything shown is from a linear timeline and Selly did not fuck up at all.
(not that I don't think it's impossible. It's just those two possibilities are the absolute trump cards that overrule literally every argument without needing much reasoning. If there is a way to fit things into one flawless linear path then it'd be my go-to until it can no longer be done)

2. I try using ONLY "what's written in the textbox" as the sole determinant, avoiding judging ages based off character models (unless a vastly different model is used), or using conjectures from the conversation no matter how logical they might be.
As in, ONLY using "what is stated here".

3. Following up, "what is stated here" is regarded as absolutely factual without considering the chances of the characters lying unless it is VERY overt.
(this is to avoid rabbit holes like "your evidences are lying while mine are not!")

4. Other events not within the window between Noriko's birth year and the year of The Accident are omitted, with the exception of Present that serves as a reference point.

For me, the confusion that I got is probably due to the fact that there exist only two character models in the game, and the teen version only represents "time during the past" as a broad stroke and will not reflect on "when exactly". For example, if you are willing to believe this timeline draft, that means Niki was in her 20 during Kyoto and she looked almost identical to the Niki when she was 14.

In addition, if one depends too much on character models to place a scene on the timeline, the following scene will make absolutely no sense whether you agree with this timeline or not.

Again the purpose is not meant for defending Selly. This is to, if it's at all possible, fit everything together in the simplest way. Let me know if I screw up somewhere.

Wizards are mostly supergeniuses who are seemingly inherently attracted towards Sensei in Kumon-mi, so I wouldn't be too surprised if Noriko was bothering Niki and Sensei as an infant...

Noriko is confirmed to be 16 at the start:

According to the Care Packages. (Ayane is 15, and Kaori is 22, so it's likely referring to their ages at the start of Chapter 1) Ami should be only around a month younger than Noriko and has a bday early in Chapter 1, meaning she's more or less 16 for most of the game. (The game itself seemingly starting in August. Ami's birth month.)

So, Ami and Noriko were probably born in July and August 2004 since they turn 16 in 2020.

This would mean Sekai and Mama Nakayama were knocked up in 2003, which is when 'Kyoto' should be taking place if Sekai is recently pregnant with Ami.

The Accident happens when Ami is 7 (assuming Sensei isn't rounding):

So it could be as early as 2011, and up to 9 years ago which is probably why Niki compares it to almost a decade:

Overall: That timeline might be around a year off, but it should be around those time periods when things happened, eitherway.

Except for Kyoto, since it simply doesn't fit if Sekai was just now pregnant with Ami, with Noriko already around, even though she should still be in her mother's womb.

Edit: Unless this 'Kyoto' Happy Event is meant to be some kind of confirmation that Ami is actually around a year younger than everyone, like Rin, and just no one is aware of it. Which could also explain her physical development, if time itself isn't simply deaging Ami to fit Sensei's taboo preference, retroactively, or some crap.

A year and a month younger is not enough (And she probably is, because it still makes her half-a-year older then Rin in that case and Sel doesn't know how japanese schoold work).

It's not like Sekai was in her third trimester and it's hard to believe that 10mo Noriko already spied on her sister

Does he have proofreaders? Given that he is such a “good” man, any proofreaders he might have had left him years ago.

Technically, the Discord denizens are his proofreaders, but they proofreader after release and he corrects in the next update.

Wow that was a good update! Also kudos to the loremasters on here for some of those correct theories!

1) That Io update was way too wholesome for us non-greeners. Like, uncharacteristically wholesome especially for LiL. There was even a wizard Io in the background to add some symbolism to the mix.

2) Speaking of backgrounds, the shadows were a little odd on some characters. With the real/fake debate going on that made me go hmmm, but I always have my tinfoil hat on so. The scene where Maya and Niki having random NPC shadows reminded me of that part in "Not the Nightingale" where Ami had Maya's shadow and everything was glitchy.

3) Pareidolia is a big fat liar, and I don'y buy the tsundere shtick. But the airbnb reveal was cool, also fit what was added to the wiki recently. That the newer gods can be hired or are used for different purposes, and that there is a "discovery" and "capture". RIP Nodoka.

4) Wild ending, but I'd bet they are still in the reset. And I'd further bet there might be another reset in 0.45, too many weird hidden things and stuff that seemed off. How wild would it be if Sel kept the three different timelines going on for a bit, as if this game isn't hard to follow as it is.

I'm not even touching Kyoto.

Now that Pareidolia is finally gone from Akira’s mind (supposedly), does anyone else think that the “senseisad” variable will finally be switched to False after the Reset 7 content?

Especially depending on how Part 2 goes… Akira’s depression may no longer be as central to his story. Maybe he’ll even return to school back to his teaching role. Although I doubt things will be quite the same as they were in Chapters 1-3.

Another thing that we understood in that conversation between Akira and Paredolia/kaori is that even after that monster attacked Akira when Paredolia was sent back to the well, even after waking up, Akira can still remember the conversation that had with Paredolia, usually he forgets these supernatural conversations, but this time he managed to keep them.

Will we now finally see Akira always keeping his memories of these supernatural encounters?

I believe he always remembered them (at least some of them), but always considering them as hallucinations or weird dreams. Only recently he become more aware that these things are real

Dunno about Wires and Hope interactions, but he definetely remember interactions with pareidolia. From 0.38-0.40 he acts like pareidolia is Johny Silverhand in his head. "Pareidolia, teleport me out of there".

My mistake, I explained what I wanted to convey wrong, I think this way it will be better, I mean Akira keeps the memories in the sense of keeping them completely and considering them real and not allusions and not trying to forget them, yes he There are times like the time he asked Maya about Wire, or there in his dream with Maya when he talked to Hope's angels about Hope, showing that he can remember some things.

Yes, I know that, but Akira always treated Paredolia as if he were a mental problem/schizophrenia, only now that Paredolia explained that he was a god and the good thing is that Akira remembered that and he now also knows that kaori It's practically a hotel for the gods so now Akira has confirmation from the supernatural world, my fear is that he will try to deny himself and try to force himself to believe that everything that happened there was because of his mental reset/break.

What if the Sekai portion of the Kyoto event happened (potentially years) before the earlier part with Niki.
Sekai probably picked him up from there a lot over the years, is there any indication that those two parts are from the same day?
After all there is another time jump to her funeral at the end of the event.

we know that pareidolia is third god of trinity from 3rd act? doesn't matter what knows Akira - he is shizopuppet of gods, he is completely unreliable. Matters only what player knows.
and i dont think that Akira will have more mental breakdowns in 4 act:
1. it will be boring from narration perspective
2. he is already deadinside, he dont give a f
3. hes crush is goin back in next patches as i get it.
