Hey folks. I remember playing this game years ago on Android before switching phones. Can't find the mobile link anymore. Is it joiplay only now? Or just strictly PC?

OK, freak shit aside, what's the point of developing a game this way ? Serious hard on for having everything done your way ? I haven't played since maybe chapter 2 was released and replaying the game, I can't imagine anyone has ever gotten all the scenes without URM and the guide mods. It's just not possible especially considering the most useless decisions in the game end up locking you out of entire event chains. It was annoying before but with this much content it's just a chore. He doesn't even want people to play the game.

It's a troll that either bricks your save, or makes it worse by preventing you from going to the dorms if you avoid the bricking. It you kept it all this time it would have been removed during the 0.45 happy event, though you wouldn't get the Maya2 profile outfit and no special variable is set for doing so. Taking the shampoo is 100% a detriment to your save file unless Sel specifically checks for the lack of Maya2 profile pic at a point after 0.45 (so can't be one of the generic events, but he could do the thing he did for senseiissad and wrap everything in an idential looking menu but code wise is different)
This is technically something he's willing to do but it breaks his usual practice of making a specific variable and then checking if it's true. (instead checking for false after a point it should be true)
The biggest problem with this is you only see the changes if you download a new copy of the 10gb game every month. Semi hefty ask.
Think people gave up after the dick head post people laughed at.

Can't you just go to the door in that event twice? If I remember correctly, going to the door requires shampoo or not having the Maya2 profile outfit, so the first time it will remove your shampoo, and the second time it will give you the outfit, does it make the dorm events available before the reset unavailable after the reset though, I didn't think they were missable.

You're right which means there's no point in taking the shampoo, it's indistinguishable from someone who didn't take it at this point. All I can see is the door is optional in the first place?

I need to ask, weren't people saying they couldn't talk to Maya in the dorms after 0.45? At least they could only talk to her in the hallway? I can get the generic room events. I thought the bug was her showing up in the hallway when it should be impossible to talk to her.
Doesn't the shampoo block you from the happy event on the dorms? I'd say that's a big consequence.

Yes, and if you miss your opportunity to get rid of it, your save is bricked (until you get rid of it by changing the variable), it's just Selebus being a troll again, although the biggest troll yet is definitely how to get the Alexis Happy Event, that's just pure evil for those that don't have a save for the Amy Event (because why would anyone).

IIRC, you can talk to her in the dorm, but if you go to the shrine you still get the glitched out earlier non-event. Her relationship with Akira is changing—Sensei no longer seems to blank out when she's in front of him. In either case, one or the other is wrong.

From what I saw there are two things people were were complaining back then.
- Mechanistically you can get her generic room event, but Sensei shouldn't be able to or absolutely do not want to visit Maya's dorm according to the plot. Her room option not getting disabled was considered by several to be an oversight.
- At this moment in Ch4, dorm hallway is supposed to be always empty. However, by inviting over certain girls and finishing their generic events, the script afterwards falsely drops you back to Ch3 menu and EVERYTHING goes back to what it was like in Ch3, talking to girls in the hallway, visiting Chika at the mall, etc. This is instead an actual bug and not just an oversight.
Correct. Currently You have one chance to get rid off the shampoo, that is during reset7 part2 puzzle when you "Open a door". If you're don't, by the end of v0.45 you will be and remain soaplocked from not just Arms Bent Back but also two Futaba's events, Weapons of Mass Destruction and My Curse, until further notice.
edit: the option of giving away shampoo in Ayane's As You Wish actually does nothing. Incorrect info removed.
There may be another chance (maybe an unavoidable one) to get rid off it forever, as Sensei at some point HAS to officially start going back to visiting dorm, but one really can't rule out the possibility of Selly wanting to keep punishing those he deems worthy of it for extended period of time.

You can't get rid of it in As You Wish, that choice does nothing.
