It left me with more questions. Who is the Voice Over PA? Are the commentaries actually an in-universe thing (as much as the author existing in a work can be)?I didn't cover the whole thing, obviously.
I have the feeling at least that segment is kinda Steins;Gate-y, and he just gave up. As shown in the roof, none of the others knew how to reset, it was Big Boi who actually did it. Without Maya, and without him to act as a lightning rod for Big Boi, I guess whatever happened in the reset just passed them over, and life moved on. But he didn't.You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Interesting! What types of scenes do those names affect? Is there full list?I was trying new names and I got a hell of a fucking jumpscare trying to get Sara to call me Son
The truth is, the only one being NTRed in this game is the player. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Commentary on Times New Roman is a surreal experience.
‚Results indicate that men from polygynous families are more likely than their counterparts from monogamous families to be unemployed and to suffer from a myriad of psychological problems, including anxiety, depression, somatization, and psychotism. Moreover, men from polygynous families are more likely than men from monogamous families to perceive the functioning of their families as problematic, their marriage as less satisfying, and their relationship with their children as more difficult‘If NTR is such a concern, the problem isn’t with games, it’s with insecure men being possessive and unhealthy.
As already discussed in a couple of previous posts on the thread, today's addition includes a scene commentary for "Times New Roman" (the sixth reset puzzle). If anyone is curious/interested in the Fanfest content, here's a Mega link to its contents:

And of course, all that made me wonder was... what about polyandrous families? How about big, polyamorous group marriages, a la The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress? Also, what were the results for the daughters of those families? I mean, these are all obvious questions, right? You pressed the “Reply” button to copy paste a non-sequitur Wikipedia paragraph. Cool.
I mean... that's what the purety routes are supposed to explore, I imagine. If you could reset the world again from the very beginning knowing what you do and not go down any love route save for Maya, would you? OR if you could choose 1 single route only, what would it be?
I think he's trying to say that broken homes create weak men who cry over things like NTR. Still a bit out of left field. And of course, all that made me wonder was... what about polyandrous families? And have nothing to do with NTR fixation, as nearly as I can tell.![]()
That makes much more sense! Still... not many polygynous families in this part of the world outside of Big Love.I think he's trying to say that broken homes create weak men who cry over things like NTR. Still a bit out of left field.
Replaying through chapter 3, i'm starting to think purity routes are not love routes. And of course, all that made me wonder was... what about polyandrous families? If I could change it from the beginning, then it feels like the MC wouldn't be Akira. Still, playing your game, I'd like to think that if I isekai'd into Kumon-mi with no memory (and the sudden ability to speak Japanese) I wouldn't treat it like a standard fuck-em-all schoolgirl harem AVN. I certainly wouldn't touch Ami. But knowing what I know... I'm not sure I'd pursue Maya. She's wonderful, but she's a complete mess (as are just about all of the characters, tbh).
I guess maybe... Niki? She's definitely a bit much, but she seems less certifiably insane than most of the others. She's also an adult, which would be kinda preferable.
Okay now there is really no backing down for me to assume Niki isn't real. It has became my Idée fixe and even Sel was implying on it. Nothing really tells more mechanical than a constant, right?Commentary on Times New Roman is a surreal experience.

Oop Sel was leaking when he said Sana was many, many things. The stark parallel with Maya and another grooming cycle I have mentioned must be one of them. But what's more I wonder? How much did we ignore? You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Believe it or not, I have forseen this, somehow, as the line "dressed in Times New Roman" embroidered in my brain. It's indeed beautiful and always reminds me how much there is unsaid from the deepst fathom of a person and how difficult it is to keep touching and genuine thoughts coherent in words. Sel was right in saying we were just deceving ourselves into believing manifestions of our thoughts were right. Sometimes I look at my ideas written down and felt intimate and weird, you know. Like a money looking at Robinson Crusoe - You understood and expressed everything backwards and it turned out to be good, thought not as you anticipated. Something main is inevitably gone. And I felt the exact sentiment when I was typing the former sentence.I didn't cover the whole thing, obviously. But those were the parts I felt deserved commentary. Also, that bit in the end, it really reminds you of how Selebus is a true artist. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.Godbless him.
I have mixed feelings about this commentary. Granted, having some confirmations is nice, and this commentary is far less self-serving than its predecessors so at least that is an improvement. But the majority of it is just a weird episode of MTV Cribs, introducing random objects with their intended meanings so obfuscated that the only way to access them is to rely on commentaries such as this. It's a presentation meant to be a mumbo jumbo since the beginning so my repeating thought even after some explanations isn't "Oh I see", but is "...OK?".Commentary on Times New Roman is a surreal experience.
