It's legit, that was his name before LiL took off and he embraced the Selebus persona. When he was writer for another game that tried to go on Kickstarter 'recently' he used DJNOSTYLE. He has a reddit account too though he only really used it for LiL promotion the last time I saw.
Highly doubt that's his goal, if he even has one involving us it'd only be to piss us off in the process. He actively de-subs people from here who he has identified on SS, so he clearly doesn't want our dirty money, it's beneath him.

You will need every patch between what you're on and the final version you're updating too, and you need to unzip them in ascending order. I believe you're on 0.45 so -> 0.46 -> 0.47.
Monthly updates and still more consistent than other western indie solo devs.

0.48 is still on for the 1st of March. It's development for 0.49 that will be pushed back a month for the Fun Fest thing.
I never merged the 0.47 folder into 0.45. 0.47 was just downloaded and extracted, then I manually put in guide mod. Everything have been running fine. Although autovn still haven't updated and I didn't put that in.

You're good to go then. If you download the full game, it doesn't give you any trouble. Only if you try to update to a version not immediately after it'll give you an error sooner or later.
