It has got to the point now, where I am not just dreaming about the game but also creating new events and inner monolog in my dreams also. I have to say, I think my writing in my head is better than what I can produce in real life! ;)
Have you caught up yet? Last I saw you were at the CH3 beach trip with the fireflies.

There are mad spoilers flying around you right now.

I love the idea that Io's plan for winning the romantic date competition is to take Sensei to see a big hole in the ground. Sadly that means still no amusement park, though.

(Also, Io's new outfit is cute as fuck)
I don't know how she looks so cute in that outfit, some kind of koikatsu black magic. She's already won the date with it though, the hole with un believably short crash barriers is just a flex. (Like seriously, if you levelled the camera out they look like they would be ankle height or something close to that, lmao.)

Question: Where does the name "Himawari" come from? Not sure if I missed something in the game or if I just wasn't paying attention when it was mentioned.

I don't remember totally so someone else may have a more definitive answer, but I'm pretty sure she hasn't been called that specifically but she's had a lot of "sunflower" references around her. There are text and audio referencing "HimawariCo" though.
Anyways, if you don't know already google the meaning of her name in Japanese.

I'm very confused. Do we have the titles? From the earlier screenshot, I'd figured "yeah, Yumi and Io are talking about the cancer, and it's extra fucked because Io was a total asshole to Yumi earlier".

How we went from that to railroad crash, I have no idea. Furthermore, how we arrived here in the middle of the dormwars lol Maybe this is after the dormwars? Again, I'm confused. If they somehow went there because Yuki crashed, why isn't Yumi there? And if Io was talking to Yumi after this, why isn't Akira there? I have no idea what's going on.

Edit: Also, where is the updated changelog? (in case Selebus has changed it again).
It just occurred to me that the crash may have happened as part of Io’s Dorm Wars Date. On the way to the amusement park.

In which case, fuck you, Selebus! ;)

Himawari is a literal translation of Sunflower in japanese.

OK she's swapping hair back this update specifically. Wonder if both are doing it.

This better not be a fake preview! She’s still blonde a few previews ago! My heart is too fragile to be fooled by this!

- She asked Sensei to name her after his favorite flower (Ad Meliora)
- Sensei’s flower is sunflower (The Lucky Few; I think)
- Himawari is sunflower in Japanese
- Himawari becomes her go-to name for the community despite not being explicitly written or mentioned

Like others have pointed out, HimawariCo is mentioned in various places.

In 3rd reset "Word of the Day" there are lots of options made of hex code. Those translate from "Ami" to "am i okay" and "t".
8th option is "68 69 6d 61 77 61 72 69", which translates to "Himawari".
And chosing this options gives us "I see things no one else can"
