Yes, it is safe to remove the mod. I checked - game saves made with the mod are normally opened by the game without the mod and vice versa.
With the same version of the game. When the versions are different, the saves work every other time - this is how Sel's code works.

If you update the game, but don't update the mod (or I stop making it at some point), there are no problems either. The mod will work until the event it knows about, and then it will turn off itself and the standard game will start.

Update 0.44 is done (link to the mod page). I didn't write about it here, because in 0.44 all the events are one chain, and the mod is not needed here.

I'm new to this game. For the last 2 versions of this game the event Reset (the first reset)... never triggers ever and ive gone to the shrine 10 times and nothing... is there a way to skip[ past it cause im stuck in a loop. It says wait for weekday... then on weekday nothing happens...

if you post your save I can check if it won't trigger for me either. Other than that you could trigger the next event, or reset itself through URM, of course you'd have to install it. In that case:

???? what? The Akira that we see in Ayane's timeline is the Akira from Halloween in chapter 3, 2 to 3 days before they were teleported to the future for the beach update, that line of yours doesn't make much sense.

Akira and Makoto is in the first Halloween of the game, Maya is in the second and Ayane is in the third, they are separated between the chapters of the story and possibly in different timelines.

I understand, but it depends, If this is the original timeline, this Akira from this timeline that Ayane is in is still working with the Reset and he is the same Akira that we controlled and saw in chapter 3, now if it is a line of totally new time with different events many things can happen.

I really like this idea. They ended up at the school in the first place because a blacked-out Sensei kept saying stuff about a box - the reader is supposed to think one of Maya's boxes, but that's never spelled out. From Nodoka we now know that Sensei is acting on memory when blacked out, so he could be remembering a box he left himself.

It's possible that Sensei brought the box or something that was in it home with him, since this is how the event ends:

It also fits with what Yasu says at the end of Chapter 3. When she thinks that Sensei is going to be reset, she tells him to leave memories behind for his future self to find.

Also the only thing that I remember as being referred to as "halftone" is this image from "Imaginary Veins" ("halftone" is its name in the game files). Or at least that's what my notes say, I think there are more images in this style in the game but don't remember where they are off the top of my head. Maybe its not connected at all though.

I suppose it would be simpler just to assume it means Wires is coming back. And maybe Wires will be messing with everyone that's been separated into various points in the time line. This halftone image shows up just after Yumi and Akira have been skipped forward a few months in time. Did we think it was Wires that skipped Yumi and Akira forward, I don't really remember?

Edit: I should also add that halftone is specifically this style of doted image. Its mainly a printing technique, usually you cant see the dots unless you stick your eye right up to it though. I guess It might have had some uses in early computer graphics, but I don't really know much about that so I'm not sure.
