No she isn't.I get that Maya is kind of the expected answer, since the game is written for her to be best girl.
She's a mistake that one has to get over with.

If I have to pick one then I finally have to admit Maya Prime wins over Niki. I loved her from the very start. I'll leave it at that since Moonie does a million times better job at explaining the love for her than I can.Hi guys, an off topic question for you: Who is your best girl and which specific moment made you realize that?
For me it's Ayane and the moment that made her the sole winner of best girl is Chapter 3 "Everyone" The standup contest between Ayane and Tsuneyo was so impactful in my first playtrough. Because it made me realise one thing, Tsuneyo announcing what happened in Lavender Green made me much more uncomfortable than the event itself.
I was so shocked at the time i didn't pay attention to any of the reactions made by other girls. On my second time, i saw Ayane going into shock, pain, desperation. Then what did she do? She put on a mask and tried her best to decrease the tension and lessen the impact of "knock knock jokes".
I watched a character crumble to pieces, then standing up and fight for her love. If anyone deserves the title "Best Girl", it's Ayane.
Sekai was very much being the shoulder angel/shoulder devil trope, manifesting as "everything he loved about her" and "everything he hates about himself that came from her" respectively. It might be true that there are two types of butterfly hairpins, but from the looks of it I honestly can’t tell if such a thing is meaningful; Sekai has always been very consistent with being creepy and hot in almost every encounter.

Of course Noriko is second place again. Deep down, somehow I knew she would be.For those curious about it, here is the entirety of Uta's journal (as released in the FanFest):
I figured I should post it so that we can discuss it. TLDR is that Uta both misses and scores a lotYou don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.But for all that she got wrong, calling Noriko "Plan B" was so freaking funny it was worth it.
I mean, I like old Maya and I get she's supposed to be the main heroine, but I'm not really sure how to support a relationship that started off with Sensei r*ping her when she was like 12 years old and then her developing some sort of Stockholm syndrome/codependency issue to cope with what happened. Pretty icky, and honestly I kinda feel that with all the high school heroine relationships.Hi guys, an off topic question for you: Who is your best girl and which specific moment made you realize that?

Based on what Aramaug was saying earlier, if there's a trigger in there it might happen from Lilfest content that was shared from someone else downloading it.To any non-subscribers out there: do the profile outfits or main menu images from the Fanfest bork your saves at all? I'd be curious to see if it's like the Care Package content or not. It is free content technically, so I dunno why it would. But you never can be sure with Selebus.
Funnily enough my answer to this question is the same. That said everyone knows Niki/Ayane/Maya are at the top of the list, what about characters you didn't expect to like?

I totally forgot about the Plan B. I shouldn't have since it made me laugh the most when reading the LJ. Very fitting and hilarious. For those curious about it, here is the entirety of Uta's journal (as released in the FanFest):
