What will I do???
I mean you can play actually non-pornographic video games, or wait for Selebus's new work afterwards cause I assume he wouldn't stop after lessons in love if you want to meet up with almost everyone here again.

It'll be the end of this particular forum but that makes goodbyes so meaningfully and so important; we might not see each other after this game ends but the memories of all of us talking together, going insane over waiting for updates, theory crafting like crazy people like we're mad but passionate will always remain here and in you. I don't know anyone here personally and I prefer not to, anonymity is important to me and everyone else here after all, but the memories we all have here with each other is special and I'm graceful for everyone here's contribution to that.

It's not the end of a journey, it's a start of a new one after you completed lessons of love.

Bold of you to assume I'll have that many years left :ROFLMAO:
I have been coming to this site for years at this point, and over the last 2-3 (?) years specifically for this thread. I genuinely don't know what I'll do with myself. Will this thread just.. die? That's what makes sense. But I've interacted with you all for so many years that it's going to be like when Brooks gets released from prison in the Shawshank Redemption, you know? What will I do???
I asked myself the same question just recently. Like… call it dramatic, but this game is a major part of my life. And like you, I’m grateful I could find this thread and interact with so many cool people about my favorite game. The day it finally comes to an end will be a sad one.

At the very least, though, we won’t have to worry about that for years to come. We’re at, what, roughly the halfway mark in the story? That’s a lot of Lessons in Love to go.

As for what we all do afterwards, well… it depends. As others have said, perhaps fan mods will be made. Or renders/fanart. I enjoy doing that, so I’ll probably keep doing it. It makes for good practice in Charastudio anyways.

There’s always Sel’s next game too. Maybe not everyone here will be into what’s next in his game-verse, but I bet a lot of us here will end up migrating threads and giving it a shot.
I would feel really sad if someone just dissapeared or we knew in any way that it has deceased. I didnt think what i would do after ending the game and man... Its depressing how attached i have become to this thread, after years coming here almost daily, spending the night reading theories, reacting to hillarious post, sharing my thoughts... And then one day stop doing it and just search for another game to fill the void and probably stop seeing some members.

Yes, we may be half through the game and still have a lot of time left but also any time an accident can happen.

Honestly I'm just hoping I live long enough to see the end lol

I'm new to this train though, I'm really glad I didn't find this game when it was in the early stages. Even finding it halfway-done I'm absolutely dreading the wait 'til it's finished but at least there's a lot of content for me to re-tread

Haha, same. I just hit the end of the last update a few days into fanfest. I don't know what i'd do if I came across this a yea ror2 earlier, and the waiting for the stories i liked to progress.

With mostly monthly updates, atleast it will be harder to forget about Lil. Unlike with other games with longer release schedules.

I too have only joined the thread recently, last december or so in fact. I've definitely grown to appreciate this crowd of open-minded eccentrics.

Part of me wishes I would've found LiL earlier so I could've taken a more active part in these theories and conversations, but I'm glad you guys had your fun and hopefully this thread will remain for you to look back on fondly even after the game is eventually finished.

At the same time, I would probably have gone deranged by now attempting to wait for each update. Getting to binge all the way up to current at this time in my life has definitely brought forth a certain catharsis within me

Let... change the subject? Right?

Nobody gonna listen, but I'll try.
So, about the last «real» update, that scene appear :
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
After that scene, I got a though : «what if that's all true, in a way?»
I know she can bluff, but the fact that she know from the beginning, or before those «revelation», that the one in front of her was «Himawari», made me think that, maybe, it wasn't just bluff.
Look, when she say that she know Sensei before the birth of Himawari, what is the «birth» of a god being in this universe? Also, about the long lost brother, I know some people assume the she was the daughter of Ayane, but was she? The genealogy in this story is kinda weird (Sana and Rin may be related, from some theory), and we don't understand all the terminal system.
And for the Space War, honestly, that may be true as well.

So, what do you guys think about that scene? Do think it's relevant or not?

Ideally for the mod I have in mind, I want to keep the story as it is now but make navigating and the grind towards the events more enjoyable in a sense; the idea is to reduce the amount of grinding you'll have to do, assuming you not using cheats or URM to boost numbers, but also make the grind more enjoyable and interactive to deepen the connection a player might have with the character in the game, answering questions about them and Sensei, having conversations with them, small dates and if you really want to get twisted, make those events glitch out from time to time, have them know conversations from the future or the happy events, corrupt the characters and make them insane momentarily or hell you can even make Ami Hiwamari appear in those events from time to time, it might add mystery, intrigue, arouse the curiosity in people to make them more invested in the game and the characters. Later on, you can have this events changed up to reflect the corruption growth the characters have gone through.
My god, those first two sections I italicized and crossed out and gave me "Take that you worm"-tier flashbacks. More on that a few lines below.
The first section I bolded seems cool, though it'd have to give the "I know things I shouldn't" feel only if you play it after you reach the relevant section, otherwise it has to seem like a natural flow of the conversation, which is why I bolded it, but still think it's kinda unrealistic since it's kinda... too much effort for a one-off? Not that, if you pull it with important characters, but it's gonna be hard to write.
The other italicized crossed out section is... cheap. I mean, I can understand why you're giving suggestions that try to make the game more palatable for the wider audiences, but, again, it came out to me as a "Take that you worm" suggestion. Not that I'm saying Worm is a masterpiece, but Young Adulting it and Lessons in Love is definitely something I only want to see in my nightmares.
Your last suggestion that I bolded is pretty good, though, I think is something Sel already does? I mean, IMO, the generic events are the best examples of this.
All in all, AzureVolt I feel your suggestions would work for TLotHB if it was still being developed. As it is now, they feel a bit... let's say, infantilizing (though I'm probably overreaching, sorry).

And the difficulty of the dumb reset events oh my fucking god, you can do so much things in order to make the logic puzzles easier while also increasing in difficulty later if you wanted to, I'm not smart, I honestly wouldn't have passed the first reset without the wonderful members here making guides and walkthroughs for my pea-brain. Here's an idea, can't you have the souls/bodies of the previous Senseis stuck in the same room as they giving you small hints and insights of what events you need to review or what information you'll need to pass the lock and as you go on, since the Senseis get filtered out for being dumb as me, you get fewer Senseis to gives you hints as the loops go on and go on but you'll grow as player and be able to remember important information that might come up later in a loop event. FUCK anything in game that could give you hints or guidance to complete the event, don't we have gods whisper insane things in our heads during those events? Why don't you make them into a gameplay mechanic, they give you hints but in a insane/lunatic type of way making you have to think as fucked as the gods themselves and give you a point of reference for later events to understand their rumblings and insane speeches without having to decode them too deeply.
In the words of chinese web novel protagonists, this can be summarized as Solving this? YOUR GRANDMA IS SOLVING THIS. Come out, Selebus, I promise I won't beat you to death!
That said, it IS a flaw in the design, though one made on purpose, I think. The resets are the way the game tells you to stop playing. I'm pretty bad at this design thing, but I agree with you there should be a better method of making it playable while still keeping that fuck you for playing this, you better not get past this feel the resets have. Though the one you proposed, while reminiscent of the Elden Ring thing, feels a bit lacking, even if I think it'd be kinda cool, though I guess it'd be hard to implement.

Three words: Clown. Yumi. Clussy.
I am just very unsatisfied that Yumi clussy is not canon

But we have our favourite Fire Lord!
I think we should somehow sneak clussy Yumi into the Lilcord. A psyop, if you wanna call it that, so Sel could add his version of clown Yumi in the game. OR SOMEONE SHOULD PAY FOR THIS,xddddddd

Also, Yumi is indeed a relative of Kaori, considering how these hairdrills make Yumi look like Kaori. I wonder if Sel did this on purpose from the start, or did he do it accidentally?

Also, on the topic of being a part of this community, I have been here for about 2 years now. It feels like an eternity. But I will keep playing LiL until it's finished. And then? Then I'll forget about this forum, I believe, since LiL is the only reason why I am here every day. I will come back to this site to see proper porn games, so I won't completely disappear from here. But who knows, if Sel will make another game, I'll visit its related thread.

Although I'm a bit lost on what Young Adulting it and TLotHB is, I get what you mean by infantilizing, harder to really absorb the dark subjects that the game covers if they gets clogged with those types of mechanics. I'm not really a game designer so all I can really do is just spitball ideas with the community to see what would make Lessons in Love a greater experience, to take the fullest advantages of being a Visual Novel and a game that you can play and interact with, because as of this moment I do feel like it's lacking a lot in the game side.

Oh shit now you say it out loud, it does sound like Elden Ring lol, Akira being the Ashen One or the tarnished does give me a chuckle

Have you considered throating Clown-Yumi's massive futa cock and slurping her heavy, throbbing nuts?
Why did you make me have to read that? and what is even up with the clown thing, Where did it come from? Why Yumi? Why clowns?
God now I'm going insane, someone else drops some news or announcement isn't a delay, I can't get a grip on what's happening

Sneak Femboy Sensei in there also. The "Femsei" agenda is not being pushed.

The last part I agree wholeheartedly, though that's on Sel's part since he considers his magnum opus something more than just a game. The main issue, to me, is that the game still isn't finished.
That said, Young Adult refers to the genre of books, it's a thing. The Legend of the Huggy Boy was Sel's attempt at making a patreon-friendly version of the game. It's pretty much Lessons in Love if 4kids.
