Seeing that fucking fake smile is just plain irritating. This is the part where the Maya date crashes. Ami can go to hell. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
With the number of girls now, these breaks seem to be common. Norika will have gone a year since her last standalone event. Even main stays like Ami, Maya, Makoto, etc have gone 9+ months without a scene since Jan 2024.I just realized the garbage Kanda has been shelved. She hasnt had a stand alone event since January.
She's in a really specific spot right now, she can wait until everyone else has been developed enough to continue the "What does Akira's love confession mean?" plot line Which is somewhere underneath the "Is Sara gonna try to kill herself?" plot line, the "What is Niki going to do about Akira's manwhoring?" plot line, the "How do we make Maya suffer" plot line, the "My mother probably has cancer" plot line, Ami's shit stirring, the Akira "WHY ARE YOU LETTING ME GET AWAY WITH THIS" crashout, and the coming beach revelations.I just realized the garbage Kanda has been shelved. She hasnt had a stand alone event since January.
UGH, I didnt even realize that. I guess they have always been really close to each other; I likely just never noticed as I only got caught up during fanfest.Fanfest has either made the Beach, Halloween and Christmas happen 3 updates in a row, or Sel is gonna do something about it.
Last year Beach was separated pretty well, but the original break would have left 1 update between beach and halloween (and decembers update isn't even marked as christmas)UGH, I didnt even realize that. No way, yeah the cast is bloated as fuck but the damage is done, there's no character i'd want removed from the story now that they're a part of it...Would you press the button to change the timeline? If so, why?
I would not. To push that hypothetical button would erase a lot of great characters. Some people think the cast is too big, but I personally think it’s fine. You could probably trim characters like Rika out of there, but even still, I feel like she’s gotten better screentime lately.Guys, you have a button. It will change the timeline, but the only change is... Selebus never adds extra 10 characters to the main cast. At most, a few of them will be in the side cast, like the Kanda sisters. And let's say, Molly and Tsuneyo still exist, but nothing more than side cast characters at best. But any character from the second school will never exist. No Uta, no Io, no Touka (and her family), no Nodoka, no Otoha, no Yasu, no Noriko (and Niki).
Would you press the button to change the timeline? If so, why?
No. I'm hella invested in the second floor. Futaba, Miku, Chika (And Sana but she's special) are kinda meh right now and aren't likely to get attention that would change my opinion for a while. I guess Rin would benefit without her dorm 2 dalliance but she'd be shallower for it.Would you press the button to change the timeline? If so, why?
rins mom can leave...No way, yeah the cast is bloated as fuck but the damage is done, there's no character i'd want removed from the story now that they're a part of it...

This is pretty much how I feel.I would not. To push that hypothetical button would erase a lot of great characters. Some people think the cast is too big, but I personally think it’s fine. So much important development wouldn’t be possible either. Like, imagine Lessons in Love without the one-sided Maya/Noriko rivalry. That means events like “Smells of Summer” or “I Will Deliver You To The Fireflies” would cease to exist too. Or what about “Spotless Mind” from Christmas 2 where Akira regains his first memory? The Niki date chain from 0.29? That has probably my favorite event of the whole game: “The End of the Tour (Glasswalker)”
No Yasu? Well that makes explaining certain lore involving HOPE a lot more complicated. I could keep listing examples, but you get the idea.
I just couldn’t see Lessons in Love without the cast we have. They’re all amazing in one way or another.
I'd have to say no, mostly because it'd might as well be just a generic Dating Sim, then, tbh. Most of the drama and backstory comes from the second floor. The game would surely suffer if it's just variations of Chapter 1 ad nauseam.Guys, you have a button. It will change the timeline, but the only change is...
