Meh, it's just a week. Plus, he's getting married later this month, which is probably the reason for the delay; from my experience, all sorts of shit pops up in the weeks before the wedding that cost a lot of time and attention to deal with.

It had more going for it than i gave it credit for, Imani and Uta aren't really my favorite characters but i was pleasantly surprised by them this time.
you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what this game is about, it seems. even saying it's a slowburn is an understatement, because though Sensei is incorrigibly horny, this game has very little focus on h scenes. if you dont find the world, the characters, and the points of tension that exists between all of it inherently interesting, it might be best to just walk away from it. there are a lot of h scenes eventually but the vast majority are static or mostly static, and they are laced between multiples dozens of hours of events and exposition.
early iterations of the game had earlier sex scenes with ayane and ami but the creator went back and edited it for later because most people fell in love with the games story. This is a game with emotional investment which requires more than a quick play. If this pisses you off you are only going to get madder when you finally hit the "puzzles" which are not puzzles and you spend an hour trying to remember an obscure object placed in the corner of the screen that was several hours of game play in the past with no prompting to its importance to answer a vague question that doesn't really connect to the scene in question.
Am I missing a specific location to visit? I have Koi Cafe/Library/Soccer Field/Amis Room for morning, Streets/Shopping Mall/Shrine/Dojo for afternoon, and Bar/Porn Shop/School Dorms at night.
OR the author misunderstands what he tries to create. I actually like characters in this game and have no problems with a slower building of narrative. I just don't get why the game push me into developing relationship with all girls, instead of giving me opportunity to focus on one or few. From 6 hours I spent reading this, I got very crappy game design when you repeatedly do the same things to get the same scenes, just with different characters (first hang out in rooms, for example). It would be ok for vn style porn game, but I get that author thinks that he is some japanese visual novel creator. Well, he is not, so all that justifying of this pretentiousness has no sense, "Lessons in Love" is just a bad porn game.
i don’t agree with the dev’s perspective on a lot of things and i think the game has a lot of shortcomings in its design, but he has very clearly said in the past that this is not supposed to be a porn game. full stop. so if you can’t accept that then continuing with the game is only gonna frustrate you. 6 hours is barely a fraction into the game and tho it gets better in many ways, the frustrating aspects definitely get intensified. he wants the game to be frustrating.
Well, then there is still the problem of product positioning. Why should I read all the author have ever said to understand what kind of game I see in front of me? This game from the first glance (and second, and third, I don't buy\download thing after just first look) looks exactly like any normal porn game and if you're still gonna say, that this is the author intent, then fuck this guy, he is just moron who somehow milking money from people who have never heard about utsuge.
