Biggest hint he's given about the update is actually naming it Epilogue: Ayane. Sounds like we're having older Ayane talking for a major amount of the update and not just one event.

So for some reason I can't trigger the There is Nothing event. I have done everything here

The only thing I haven't done is a Happy Event but I need Maya's phone number to invite her. Can someone help me? I'm starting to think I'm glitched.

You have to do the “Turn Off The Lights” Happy Event to proceed. Make sure it’s a weekend evening and go to your phone. You don’t need to get Maya’s number manually. She will show up for you in your contacts. You can start the Happy Event from there.

NEVERMIND! I didn't realize I could do the Happy Event of inviting Maya over. Someone said I needed to wait Chapter 2.

You don't get her actual number until chapter 2, but her name would appear in your phone randomly for the happy event. A bunch of the happy events are some weird thing appears and you should click it.
