Always entertaining to see people writing reviews getting mindbroken over the most innocuous things.
Far from it, it even got an update last week. The reason you don't see it updated on the main page is because of a feud that happened between the Dev and the Mods a few years back. I believe the full explaination can be found somewhere in this thread

Kinda funny. The game developer is the most prolific in the entire H-game genre. Stable patches once a month.

And I am sure that even with those weekly updates they would not catch up to one of Sel's monthly even in half a year.
No, this game is alive and well. The problem is that you have to check for updates by yourself by coming to this thread every 1st day of the month, most of the time. The game updates 10 times a year with 2 months of rest for Sel. The next update will be on 01.01.2025 (this december is a rest month). Here the 2025 schedule:

Himawari. Earlier theories already pointed this out by comparing the overall tone, objective and other narrations to her style.
Last update presented even stronger evidence by continuing the trend of her having a life out of the simulation, coupled with Alexis' life with her daughter, and the double down on "trying to make it a better place".
While it could potentially be anyone, including Ami, it seems unlikely because Ami just wants a perfect world for the two of them. If not Himawari, I'd say Maya would be higher in likelihood than Ami. Himawari seems to fit better because she wants to create a better world overall, and will put Akira through suffering for it (even if she tries to minimize it whenever possible). Also because she is a confirmed narrator that talks like that rather than narrator Ami's INSANE TYPE OF SPEECH.
