I wonder if Maya was ever truly real to begin with. The perfect girl for a broken man at the perfect time, hidden from the world and totally happy to not be discovered.
We lack the evidence for a theory like this mind you, but it wouldn't surprise me if Maya turned out to be from the wishing well or some such similar.

When you make or edit a post, click on the image (once you've inserted it into the text box), it should be outlined with a square in every corner, just click and drag one. As for using spoilers, click and drag before or after the image and highlight the image, then click the flag icon in the bar at the top, hit accept and it'll be spoilered.

I think Kaori ignores Maya rather than not seeing her completely because In Something Everyone Knows And Ignores (S.E.K.A.I) event, Sekai lectures Sensei, AMi and Maya. While she answers to Ami and Sensei, Maya's questions getting ignored like she doesn't exist at all. Towards to the end of the event, Sekai reacts to Maya, in the sense of she got annoyed by either Maya's questions, or Maya herself. So we know that Sekai can see Maya but chooses to ignore her.

In 0.44 or 0.45 it is confirmed that Kaori carries Sekai's organs and some form of Sekai which causes Kaori to act on Sekai's bidding.

So thats why people think Kaori involuntarily ignores one specific ponytail girl.

This fucking killed me. Selebus wishes he could compare with someone who actually puts time into their render/coding I'm sure. If you wanted to give Selebus any points when comparing the two it'd probably only win in story/character writing, and even character writing is a stretch (at least in my opinion) because he rarely even writes some of his characters or gives them awful events and then they aren't seen for another half year. (Not trying to start an argument with you, I'm just saying that what you said about them being not that different visuals and programming wise is pure bullshit) Then again you'd be right about visuals in regards to early Lost in You, I always fuck with him for the early pool scene render.

Nobody asked the real question... which Rokuhara mother is the hot one???? Is it Rie or is it Rika? I need answers.

Also Caterpillar already won the scene commentary vote in the care package that never got released. Why not just make it the winner or why not just release the care package that's been in limbo for 2 years.

There is a LOT about "Somnambula" that we don't understand and yet routinely quote. It's a shame it isn't an option, but then again if Selebus were to explain it, he'd probably give away a lot of the game's secrets.

I'm also hoping for "Il Cervo", although "Episcopalis" might be nice as well. Just as long as it isn't the other two - "Caterpillar" and "Kid of the Month" seem like just "yeah I felt that way once as well" kind of commentary.

I'll ignore the very foreshadowing use of "at least" for now and limit myself to thinking about just one pair for the time being (besides, if a girl is related to Sensei then it mostly will automatically include Ami, making the "at least" logically correct).

From the looks of it, this isn't just something planned in the future, but is something very subtly planted somewhere in already happened past events. Who is the most likely candidate of such a pair or at least, which girl is most likely to be involved? For me, the strongest one is Sana according to the monologue when Ayane killed her with a cage free egg. This feels like a direct attempt in glossing over something important.

edit: also I personally think another cousin pair is technically fitting but utterly boring, so I will just spice things up and imagine that Sana's bastard of a dad not only is alive still, but also is the bio-dad of another girl (which unfortunately is news as old as dinosaur at this point)

I like the theory that Yumi is actually a bastard child of Tomonori, and is technically a Tsukioka. Yuki was completely passed out, right? And it wouldn't be too far fetched for the yakuza and the elite to rub elbows with one another. Perhaps it was a social event, Tomonori (or even multiple others, who knows) saw Yuki's unconscious and vulnerable form and just... took advantage.

There's no substantial evidence to back this up, but hey... you gotta admit... Yumi and Touka are similar in multiple ways, right?

Also, both of them are 'princesses', one seemingly by choice and the other one rejects it completely. Even then, Touka was groomed by her family into believing being the heir is what would be best for her life because that's "just what the Tsukiokas do and have always done". Some interesting parallels to still be tapped into and explored there.

I'm preparing myself for her memories to be fake, which would be really tragic considering what she was willing to do for them (So fake backstory she was willing to wait for thousands of years over) but that could only be true if the Nakayamas are also fake.

As much as some people might dislike Selebus for various reasons or don't like the fan fest stuff interrupting the update schedule. I do think if I was working on the same schedule and had to use KK character studio that often Id have blown my brains out years ago. You might not like him, but I think he deserves an amount of respect for that regardless. Finishing 2 events worth of visuals in one siting is kind of insane to me to be honest. Especially with the shot compositions being pretty good usually, and the focus on having characters expression changes in scenes linked to the dialogue/writing. As well as managing to giving characters the feeling of having their own unique body languages/expressiveness. And that's not even mentioning the writing, or getting it all into Ren'Py.
