I just don't think this year has been the greatest content amount wise if you get what I mean, so that's why I'm a bit more judgmental with all the random stuff, then delay, and then break right after it all. He can have all the breaks he wants I'm not against that I want to make that clear, especially if it concerns his health and desire to continue the game. But just as much as he is allowed that, I am allowed to feel a bit upset at the lack of content this year.

The FanFest wasn't about abreak. It was about celebrating 5 years of the game. Which is a perfectly reasonable thing to want to do (especially because this game being successful allowed him to quit his day job). I get it that you don't care for the content he made in that time (I don't either), but that's literally what the people paying his mortgage told him they wanted.

And he put out content every day, didn't he (honest question, I didn't pay attention to it)? That's still work. Even if I hate the content, he's still putting it out.

And as someone who isn't paying him a dime, I don't feel that it's worth having the energy to be bitter about it. I have a finite number of hours left on this earth, I can't be bothered to be angry about a delay in a game I'm not paying for. Especially when there are much more important things going on right now that I can spend my outrage on.

I haven't gone out of my way to check much of the previews, but it seems this Dorm War might actually be decent... what between the seemingly one on one Io time, and the fact Rin is peak hotness again, I'll give it just a slight chance to not piss me off this time, atrX didn't at all deserve the slander that was very obviously forced into the last Dorm War.

That's the person who made Lost in You, right? Was that who the weird rip-off tangent was about? I haven't played the game so I was curious about that lol

And yeah, I'm equal parts optimistic/pessimistic at this point. The fact that Sensei's involved is the main thing, as long as we get some 1 on 1 time with a few of the girls I'll probably be happy. After 0.48 I'm quite keen to see how Sensei and Yumi interact moving forward and I don't wanna have to wait 3+ months for them to have another conversation lol

Yes that was the developer of Lost in You, the one who now canonically exists inside of LiL because of a stupid rant that makes no sense because LiL and LiY are both their own games with their own stories, to the point where atrX made his own version of the "don't compare my game about X to DDLC" like Selebus has, I'm sure you can find the post I'm talking about somewhere in these forums or on the Discord.

Lord have mercy, i said something like it would be a fashion show and im happy i was not too far. Both are gorgeous but that Ayane makes me feel things, if we can vote i will definitely choose her and if she lose because lilcord wanted that i will burn all of them to ashes

Having played some of Lost In You, the developer has his head up his ass. There are like 50 points of "similarity" (e.g., things that are different from LiL only in the most cosmetic sense ).

I'd have to go with Yumi. She's always seemed (to my mind, anyway) to be the most perceptive of the wiped girls in terms of catching on to what happens with Sensei and in terms of seemingly remembering bits and pieces of prior iterations.

Sana never really displayed that kind of perception on her own (from what I can remember), despite her growing importance. Even when they tried clueing her in she wasn't able to grasp things whilst Yumi immediately caught on, for the second time.
