What is the function of these files? I know what drm is but I don't know what kind of drm is in this game.st

At some point, a while ago, the dev was losing enough money by being a prick to his fanbase that he started to create "care packages" to encourage people to subscribe. You can see the download links for the care packages under the download link for the main game on page 1. They're nothing special...new menu screens, noncannonical sex scenes you can play by using the computer in-game, etc. Extra fan content that is not cannon and does not affect the story in any way. You can download the files and add them to your game if you so choose.

However, the care packages ended up on F95 when they were supposed to be only for subscribers, and the dev, understandably, did not like that. Keeping in line with his typical behavior, the dev asked himself, "how can I be the biggest cunt possible to my fans?" He hired an amateur programmer to add a couple lines of code to the game such that if you pirate any care packages, it deletes all your game's save data. He then proceeded to have his fans spam this site and was promptly banned the site, had his game removed from the latest updates page, and had all links to his subscribestar removed from f95. The game has not grown since. His income, which was exponentially rising every year, immediately stagnated and has begun to dwindle.

IIRC, the "DRM" works by checking metadata from each care package to see if it's installed on multiple machines. It wasn't perfect -- at the time, there were discord screenshots of a few of his genuine subscribers getting burned by this as well. The care packages hosted on this site should NOT contain metadata to trigger the "DRM".

Because the "DRM" is just a couple lines of code, you can bypass it by using game files with those lines removed. This is useful if you downloaded care packages from alternate sources or just want to be extra safe.

That line from Nodoka about "not forcing anyone" actually made me laugh because all I could think was: "Yeah, Nodoka but pointing out how bad the writing is doesn't actually make it better."

Nokoda would be great at Cinema Sins.

So what is the explanation then? The dark god of lust made them do it? That's lame. It's like the dev took a rook and moved it 5 spaces diagonally during a chess match. If you want that piece to be there you need to show us how it gets there naturally.

There's also the major issue of most of this update being missable. My personal theory on how things progress is: Futaba's dead dies. She starts hanging out with Makoto as part of the Dead Dad's Club. Sara tells Maki about Sana and Sensei. Maki finally drags the truth out of Makoto and Futaba. All hell breaks loose.

But if you miss the event how the hell does the game even progess at that point?

Rest of the event is diffucult to understand just like any other happy event. But this one is even more weird since we are not sure who answers to who.

According to Ayane in ch4 event This dorm wars supposed he in you guessed it, beach. But apperantly a tidal dissaster destroyed the beach.

What are your thoughts on this? We know something is wrong with Terminal 23 as it is on it's last legs since the last reset. But which god causing this or is it because of lack of divine intervention.

Guide mod 100%. Some of the events are hard to figure out what leads where and how much stats you need.

Otherwise play natural and let the story take you for a ride. Things will get fucked up and there is a LOT of reading, but if that interests you then there definitely are payoffs.

Every girl is needed for progression, you can prioritize them over each other but you will eventually need to circle around to each one.

No one has any recollection of what happened that night. This is obvious tampering from the supernatural.

The fact that the Beach is closed off right now should be an even more obvious red flag.

How Sel will tie that in later and how he’ll justify the progress (or lack thereof) made from then to the next Beach Trip, I have no idea.

I’m not on board the ‘Omg Lessons in Love is so dead’ train just yet. Seems like an overreaction to me. I’m gonna be patient and see what all happens in the next updates until we get back to the Beach.

If we still have no answers for whatever reason afterwards, then well, yeah. Maybe then is a good time to start scratching our heads.

I personally hate the fact that the MC grew a conscience and the general redemption direction the game is going, and the fact that the author decided to actually give him a name, it would have been way more climactic if it was revealed at the game ending or something, he went from this 'cool no-fucks given who cares' protagonist with a mysterious background and no name to some whiny bitch pretending he feels bad because of some no-no thing he was forced to do to the ginger girl and to the cancer-mom girl and pretending he doesn't like diddling little girls.

Like in the last 6 updates 50% of his dialogue is him narrating some obscure bath salts driven bullshit about Mongolian basket weaving or whatever which is actually just an indirect way of saying 'oh i heckin' feel bad and Ami's mommy molestered me and I am a heckin poem writer n shit' instead of finally getting in the pants of his whole classroom (i know its padding from the author for that sweet $ but Jesus cmon)

Do you remember maze like mall event. You need a earlier save to play that event again. Happy event gets triggered that way.

Like something huge happened, but it's effects are so subtle in the narrative that people are calling it bad writing.

What? I know this is a porn game on a porn website but surely once you made it through the first reset you knew what you were in for. Asking for consequence free fucking at this point is just crazy. There's like 1000 other games right here to choose from.

Obviously there should be consequences, but these consequences shouldn't come out from him whining like a bitch and pretending he's a good boy, the consequences should be a tangible result of him not caring if anything happens because nothing matters and time resets anyway, i feel like the story would be way more fun that way (even though it's fun right now).

Consequences like Yumi beating Nodoka, Ami poisoning half the class. Ayane throwing herself off the tower and dying and resetting, that kind of thing. So far there have been 0 actual consequences for the MC (except for previous Maya disappearing but even that is kind of debatable), it's just him being an asshole in some way and never getting any kind of repercussion except him whining about it in his internal monologue when literally nobody else gives a shit.

According to the wiki, there was a 9 day timeskip afterwards. Of course, someone may want to double check that.

If you have, has this fact had a real impact on you? Cause i warn you, there's a high chance this game will do it to you. Play it at your own risk, i wish i could drop it and never look back, but i am trapped here... i have to see it through to the end, but i wish i'd never touched it...
