Interesting, though i guess since a bunch of people got the ID flagged it means darkdaemonx has been flagged and probably booted from the site so guess that means the care package enthusiasts are going to be put out until someone else starts leaking and i'm guessing scrubbing the metadata will still get your saves scrubbed if you don't use the replacement gui.rpy file right?

Ideally you would remove the part where they check for the ID, I don't know what kinds of error we would get if the ID is just not there. Removing the metadata would be safer for the leaker tho.

The problem with DRM is that it's always going to be harder to make than it is to break. I'm just one guy with a full time job, and while I find this fun, it's not my big side project. Woe is me. If I really need to there's ways to make it more secure, but that would take away some functionality from the game (e.g. encode the scripts which would suck for the lore hunters). Renpy is not designed to be secure.

You did a great job, man. Absolutely brilliant. Was not expecting to find it where I did at all

I also hope you're getting paid for this. I assume this isn't going to stop so I look forward to the next bout

I haven't played since 0.26, but I'm still looking at the updates. I came back and downloaded it just to mess with its code when I saw the issue.

Well, seems Selly discarded the pretense and so we have 'word of god' confirmation of what year the girls are in and thus their ages, 14 to 15. I know in odd cases you can get 13 or 16 but if that applies then statistically it can only be 1 maaaaybe 2 of the students. Good to know though it was already pretty much assumed.

You only have to worry about it if you installed the leaked care packages.

And all you have to do to bypass it is to either delete the code block starting at line 418 in gui.rpy, or to replace the one in your game directory with this one. Make sure to rename it to gui.rpy after you download.

Otherwise all your saves and the script.rpy file will get deleted.

It's always been clear that they're first-year high school students, but that's in the Japanese school system, where there's only 3 years of high school, so they're age-equivalent to US Sophomores, or 15-16.

i got it to work at night time on the weekend, specifically sunday. You need to go to the second floor dorm and it should auto trigger.

Skill issue

the last update just shows that Sel spends more time on this "war" than on the quality of the game and it is only getting worse. the puzzle was annoying and nothing else, there are more mistakes and bugs in this update than in the last 6 put together, the story is getting worse, the characters are getting more shallow and the story is more rushed as this goes on, etc.
this had the potential to be one of the best vn out there. now it is just stupid.

That got the first event, which trailed directly into the second. Third is not playing for me.
