I am referring to Sana's event Waiting for Anything, where Sensei's inner monologue "It's just like how I used to feel insignificant when my-" was cut to BZZZ.; I am assuming the unfinished sentence is about his brother.

This is based on how Sensei wants to compare his former self to Sana's state of mind, which involves feeling corned by people familiar to her but physically bigger and emotionally more mature and confident than her.

Perhaps it's because of Sensei's attitude toward his brother explained his current lack of appearance : there is no reason to for Sensei to try to remember his existence, the epitome of feeling insignificant.

His brother's other mentioned in the game is in Good Boy, where Sekai telling Akira that he is much nicer than his big brother and implying something Nozomu did to her the other day (thus callous might not be an mislabel for Nozomu after all?)

Oh I see. That certainly makes sense.
Another thing I just noticed, it's pretty minor but: 今 (ima), is just Ami reversed. I'm feeling silly for not recognizing this sooner.

So I finally finished .27 and got .29, but all I get on the screen is text and a black screen with "There is Nothing" and it has been that way for the past 30min of playing with the exception of the Yumi walking in on Imani scene. Anyone else run into this?

did you get 0.28 too? because it's kinda of a sequence you know if you didn't update to 0.28 you will need to download the full file

I got the compressed version of the file and I thought it was the full version. I will download again with a regular version of the full game. Thank you for the input.

Sometimes the compressed version gets a little glitchy because of the way the file structure is set up. Might want to try a complete (uncompressed) install.

He got upset about people pirating the paid content, so if you download the care packages without removing the DRM, it deletes your save files.

I doubt that will happen.
On the bright side - you can make your own, quality will depend on your skill though. You can make them pretty much indistinguishible from original! And there are a few of those flying around on the net (saw Maya, Chika and Chinami, pretty high quality too)
