Early on, there was an event that could only be triggered by visiting the dorms, choosing "knock on a door" then "go home". I hated this for a few reasons
Can't quote mans because owo? but RE: guide mod comment
I stumbled into this vidya game on random chance because i'm a degen who used f95 to find other things relevant to interests.
I think it was because i liked Corrupted Kingdoms i searched by Ren'Py or some sort of tag to find similar games and now i'm unfortunately hooked on this evil piece of work.
I didn't know how expansive the game was, how much it would want me to press on and read more and i just used the wiki and free releases to catch up. But that was simply because the idea of 'failing' an event upset me and i wanted to full experience, the guided mod helps but once you know what you're in for you kinda start saving slots that have any sort of number on screen out of habit, any sort of weird out of context information and abusing the shit out of the H button when static happens to cap something that might mean nothing but be somehow unfortunately relevant later.
I do genuinely have saves that date back to bad uncle choice route, or the first dorm wars winner or the 3some selection etc because i've learnt that Selebus is a fucking egotistical menace who changes the rules whenever the fuck he wants like a child upset you beat them at their made up rules, I have Amy event saves but i'm not loading them since it apparently does nothing right now.
The very point i'm making however is that the game is really playable and the rollback function exists if you make a bad choice, I've done it plenty of times going in without help and using save slots are your friend.
It is absolutely a smoother experience if you go into with a guide mod and URM however but that's just the nature of things. But it wouldn't be Lessons in Love if the Lesson you learnt wasn't the fact the dev is an asshat :^)
History yet again repeats itself. While scrolling through itch.io I come across yet another homo-erotic visual novel with a main character to that looks similar to Sensei. But this time it looks like Sensei and Sana had a femboy son.
My new headcanon is Sel started out making femboy centric games under numerous pseudonyms then realized it wasn't working and then tried using girls instead and struck gold.

Nice try, this is clearly a preview for a happy scene with Shota from a different timeline where he survived and got butt implants in Brazil the other half of the town.
Also, thank god Sel didn't decide to animate Sana's hidden eye like this, it looks absolutely asinine. I also wanted to use a big boy word for once.

Hello fellow buddies long time no see. Studies caught me for a long while and I'm still struggling with catch up with latest update (Truly impossible:>).
Anyway now a tricky question has emerged: In Where the Trees Live of Kaori's event we saw a reflection of past in the woods. But then of whom?
My first guess was that it's reflection of Yumi and Kaori before the Accident which fits with the theme here, with Yumi on the left and Kaori on the right, each with shorter haircut compare to current one. And Kaori is eldre than Yumi
But the flutterflies circling and the attire of rightmost character gave out such strong vibe of Sekai herself and the character on the left has a black-yellow right eye that corresponds to that of Kaori while Yumi has greyer iris.
And somehow the red-black clothes the left one wearing reminds me of uniform of Touka and Tsukas? It might just be a hunch but does Tsukioka family have deeper connection to Sekai?
And let me add one thing, In event The End of the Tour (Glasswalker) of Niki we had almost same scene. This time obviously between Niki and Akira.

It's an interesting theory but I'm inclined to say that the two characters are indeed supposed to reflect young Yumi and teen (pre-accident) Kaori.
First of all, because it just makes sense. And also it's the only sensible connection age-wise.
I don't see Sekai fitting in there with either Kaori (they would be further apart in age) or someone like Tsubasa (I'm not sure if it was ever established how old she is supposed to be).
Yumi's eye color irritates me a little, as it's clearly yellowish in that scene, so almost like it would have to be Kaori's right eye, but I don't see this being some kind of trick and it's her as a kid with an only marginally older Sekai. Especially since Sekai always had natural red hair. Unless they're both Kaori, just one somehow from a different timeline? I doubt it though.
The dress has been shown to have been worn by Kaori before though, I'm pretty sure.
And the butterflies are definitely a sign for Sekai, but it could be anything from showing that she is involved somehow, to Akira associating youth with his lover and abuser, to it being just a red herring.
As to the phrase, you'd have to ask the lore masters.
I could imagine that being tied to one of the popular theories of Maya not being real or something and her being created by a depressed Akira who felt alone. Or just Sekai being a clingy ghost hunting him.

*Double Post Apologies* Apparently there are request of Grow Old. Then Die in the gallery. Majority of them of are lewd wizard requests (which I wont share because jail). But some of them do show the MC of Grow Old. Then Die which to my recollection hasn't be shown in this thread.

I don't understand what I'm looking at. Akira's twins' male half (born from either Sekai or Ami given the eyes) fucking past Ayane but in the future? So the first NTR was from Ami with Maya, and now the second is from Ami's son with Ayane? lol
Okay, nonsense apart, at least his son has a somewhat normal face, I found that Akira always looked a bit off if compared to the girls, but the twins look the same "realism" wise to me.

In "The End of the Tour" Sekai imagery is used to illustrate that by recovering his good memories with Niki, Akira is inevitably also going bring back bad memories with Sekai. The repeat of the imagery in "Where the Trees Live" is used to show that Sekai is again returning in some form, this time as SeKaori. So I don't think "Where the Trees Live" is showing any real memory, it's just symbolic, hence why (as Dc345 said) it's two different versions of Kaori.
Although I don't think it's related to this event, there is indeed a very strong connection between the Tsukiokas and Sekai. Most obviously through their sakura tree:
As for "What did you want to be when you were little", it seems to be a Pareidolia/Sekai thing (I don't think it's worth trying to distinguish the two), who often get nostalgic for the better days of Akira's youth. I guess AmIOkay says it because she's a mishmash of Sekai, Maya, and maybe Ami in those early happy events. Edit: since you didn't include it in your post, I'll add that a very similar sentiment is expressed in Chapter 2 main event "Metal in Microwaves" by the narrator, who is probably Pareidolia since they indicate that they're in the back of Sensei's mind and this happens right after he rapes Molly.
To add to previous posts, I've always assumed that the shadows that show up in "Baby Finches" whenever the camera pans to Ami are also adult & wizard Kaori.
