I think it only jeopardizes Niki herself, and maybe Maya and Ami to a lesser extent. Truth of the matter is that Niki can't "heal" Akira, he has to heal himself. What Niki is doing is putting herself into a position where she won't be able to ignore or pretend not to see what he's doing. It's likely that things aren't going to go how she wants them to. She'll either break or die.
Also, yeah, I'm betting that he'll move everything to the new apartment. Which is good for Niki's mental health, but very bad for Ami's. Or maybe I'm just overthinking everything and nothing bad will happen because she'll be busy with concerts all week long.

Were previous christmas updates in a single chain like halloween? Trying to read between the lines, I don't think Tsukasa events are gonna have any h in them if it's a major chain. Already thinking the Tsukiokas would be busy for christmas, and sensei being stuck in a chain would make it all but impossible for him to sneak out and freak out.

Christmas, Halloween, Dorm Wars, and Beach Trip are all event chains with minimal free-roam, if any. There may be a couple of free roam events before or after the chain, though.

Huh… looking again at the preview with Niki:
It’s easy to miss at first, but you can make out on either side of the picture what looks to be a doorway. Could someone be hiding inside the closet and watching all of this? Ami maybe? Someone else entirely?

I don't think a closet would work, that's the corner of Akira's bed, nothing there but walls... but a hidden camera or phone that's recording could go on the shelf there...

Hmmm, yeah maybe not. I just remembered the event where Ami cucks Noriko from the closet, which was close to the bed off memory, and thought it might’ve been a bit ironic if Ami wound up in there this time, getting cucked by Noriko’s family member.
Probably overthinking this though lol.

It may be weird but i think its the door and they could be on the table(?) Like the left thing is the doorframe and we have the door (in a very weird light that it make it being absolute black) at the right. And maybe the white thing that is at Sensei neck is the pillow

Looks like my closet theory is a bust. It looks too far from the bed to make sense.

Yeah, that could work, if you dropped the fov a bit to force the perspective, tilted it and then clipped the sides off... i mean, Selly obviously made the shot he made, so it has to be possible...
Edit: Yeah so it would seem plausible for that shot to be a hidden camera, probably Ami's phone, if she was spying on them and it's not just a unique angle Selly wanted to use... which i am inclined not to believe as why then would he crop the sides? He doesn't do that anywhere else in the game, but he does for vertical phone photos...

I definitely endorse the hidden camera/phone take. In hindsight that just makes the most sense.
Perhaps the hidden camera is one of Ami’s leftover security measures from Akira’s catatonic phase?
