I was about to say "I will like your post to underline the Rin love, but skip the content, as I was (accidently) on the bad homie path in my original playthrough and haven't gotten around this part in my replay yet".
But then the reply function unraveled all the spoilers and threw the pictures in my face Noooooo

Anyway, still looking forward to it. Rin is just genuinely Akira's best buddy/friend.
Like (weird take incoming) imagine all the girls turned suddenly into guys, or alternatively, Akira became magically gay (aka dark path, aka that other game on itch.io), then Rin would be #1 by a landslide, they just vibe so well. They have this specific kind of connection that other girls don't really have with him, it's difficult to explain.

You need to play through 0.45 first (even though it's part 2 of halloween 2024, you can skip if you have the right save)

I believe the line you need to experience is after the maya rape. It says you've unlocked alexis.

Then you take that paredolia mall save and experience the happy event.

And then you can go back to your 0.45 save or whatever. That event and reward is a persistent unlock.

Guide mod is not uninstallable, can confirm.
When 0.46 comes out I'll have to sit back like a twat and wait for the mod to update.

you can still play with an old version of guide mod installed, it just won't have the hints for any new content yet

The one that looks like somebody smashed the keyboard is probably Vigènere/Caesar Cipher. It's a pain in the ass to decypher it without the key, so it's probably better if you search the event name on the wiki, like Moonflare said.

Just bruteforce it xd There may be some webs that post all the keys or you can just go 1 by 1 until it has a normal word in it

Okay, for everybody that wants to see this elusive 0.45 Alexisthymia Happy event.

Everybody who is a regular knows that Selebus is a cunt, so he took it on himself to make sure "cheating" becomes way more difficult. Most imported save files don't work as they get corrupted so the "easy" way to see it is through URM.

PLEASE, if you are going to see this event, do it from either this SAVE file, any save that works or just getting there manually, AS LONG as you get there through the mall itself. Do NOT try to flag the event through URM.

BEFORE you put this file in your saves folder, make sure to make a BACKUP of your save folder as always.

Once you are inside the save file, all you have to do is click FORWARD and the event has already begun. You are free to roam around the mall before or after you're done with the happy event if you want to.

AFTER the event is over, make sure you SAVE again and leave this file in your game, make sure to ALWAYS have a Mall save.

I am not the god of save files, but I will always be available to provide a clean green route full save at the end of every update if someone fucks up.

I believe the static smiley in this scene represents Akira feeling a sense of deja vu. He’s trying to recall a memory because of how familiar the situation is.

Noriko’s “Semi-Constructive Criticism” event in Chapter 2 has something very similar happen as well.

Also, quick tip for capturing any hard-to-catch screenshot: As soon as it flashes on the screen, press ‘H’. This will not only hide the text box, but freeze the image in place for you to screenshot.

I didn’t figure this out until fairly recently, but it’s pretty useful.

On top of the likely walkthrough, christmas is likely to be a complete event chain so no way to miss it. At worst, missing lust events or choices you already had made (So grind at least 10 molly lust, and maybe taking it from Tsukasa)

Hmm, is this game even possible to get 100% on without autovn and/or hint mod? Must be extremely hard and time consuming. Maybe the speed at which I'm going at is record time compared to what is expected without mods.

It's definitely time consuming. Part of me wants to regrind my Ayane affection without using the hint mod, but I'm gonna wait until I'm actually fucked by Sel for using it. Otherwise it'll wait for most of the game to be made.

Pretty much. Chapter 1 ends after the second reset and the seasons change. And you have two whole event chains to go too (I think you've done the beach)
