Its pretty bad but you can do it with like 50 wiki tabs open on a 2nd monitor. That's how I was playing it until I caught up. Not including the easter egg scenes that need thousands of affection points. Because no one is doing that manually. That was a while ago though, so its probably even worse now.

I did the green-route with a shitty monitor (barely HD...), with the wiki open in the background, a pencil/paper to take note (because, of course!), and I manually farm all the affection points...
So, with your post, I think I'm a madman. Or a Selebus patreon.

I did have a large amount of notes on paper for chapter 1 and half of 2 that would surely make me look insane if someone read them. But I have since lost them and now have a .txt file of insanity instead. It was probably a mistake using a .txt file though, because now its too long and full of terrible formatting consisting of various piles of symbols that would make it be way to annoying moving it to something with actual formatting features.

This is a very good theory. But rather than him trying to remember, I think it's him trying to forget (or blocking it would be the proper word). I say this because if you look to the top left and bottom right, it's usually joined by "I did it again" and "erase yourself". So maybe it's dangerous memories coming back and the safety protocol blocks them? I don't know. That it's related to memories is a good guess though.

if i didnt have someone holding my hand during the happy events i woulda dropped this game when they first introduced puzzles to them

So decided against playing again as I just got through it but I have decided to go back and reply certain events (Both my fav and others I do remember there being something that caught my attention) and may give my thoughts or ask for clarification in-case it's something I missed (I didn't realize the complexity and depth of this game till almost end chapter 1 beginning of chapter 2 where I started trying to pay attention. If anyone answers they can just tell me to check out xyz event to get a better understanding or answer if it is easier)

Bringing up the sounds in that event reminds me of one of the most out of pocket thoughts I have had playing this game. Something about the pitch shifted messed up song playing in the background made me think of a steam train. And knowing That Io liked playing the 1999 PC Classic, Rollercoaster Tycoon, I just started randomly thinking in the middle of everything going on in that event that "Io would probably like it if Akira played Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe with her". I don't think I can adequately express how strange it felt having that thought come into my head while playing Stomachache.
That's also one of my favourite songs in the game, I think I had a similar reaction to it when i first played it. Has anyone got a lil soundtrack tire list? I'm kind of interested in filling one out myself.

I've been to the beach once with Chika, Yumi and Chinami. Does that count? Or is there a different one? They did mention something about a vacation with the whole class or something

No that's just a regular Chika based event. There is a beach vacation which you will experience first, then halloween, then christmas. They are big event chains you watch from the start to the finish where you might get extra scenes if you have enough lust / choices (Though Autovn probably takes care of that)
Explaining the easter eggs that need thousands of affection,minor spoiler ahead there is a hidden character in the game that you have seen at this point, even if you don't remember her. A couple of interactions related to her require specific or absurd requirements to experience. in fact..
When you got to pick a person to hang out with here, there was a 4th choice here locked behind >2000 Ayane Affection. We have no idea if Sel ever intended someone to see that scene legitimately or if there's hidden lore buried deep in the event.
But I was issued a challenge, and that girl is worth it.

Yeah, update. I found the scene. (obviously I was not gonna do this the legit way, no way in hell) And yeah, everything seems to check out.
Gotta love this song. It almost makes me feel so happy in a slightly disturbed way.
Also I'm not entirely sure I understand what you mean by "I have seen her- even if you don't remember her". Are you referring to the mc or the player(me)? Because I don't recall seeing her before. Who is she anyway? Does she appear again? Is she from another game?
