Also because someone brought up the mall thing I have no idea what the triggers are but I did the mall event on my Good Sensei run, then again (obviously) on my bad sensei run and got the Alexis event there.

Interestingly doing it on another save file also unlocks the character profile for your main save. My good sensei can select the "Alexis" portrait despite technically never doing the event.

In 0.45, there's some between scenes dialogue from the maya rape to the 0.45 reset puzzle. During it, you see a purple smiley face, get a sound chime playing and unlock Alexis. This is a persistent variable that's set outside of save files.

Then you need to go through the paredolia mall happy event while not in a replay. one of the locations will check for that persistent variable and if it's there, you'll get an extra choice to start the bonus happy event.

completing the bonus happy event sets another persistent variable and that one gives you the extra profile for Ayane regardless of save, and credit for completing the bonus event regardless of save.

the talk of perception with whoever is speaking the "narration" in this case really fucking cements my feelings of: this is a game that does not want you to fucking play it and it will probably be a better world for it.
also user 2 is... scary, they help but... "praise be" is a phrase I've been conditioned to be wary of so far since it being spoken by sensei without him meaning to or not knowing why he seemingly compulsively said it or him actively having to stop himself from saying it and it also having had static flash moments when spoken I think at least once.. I'm very scared.

If I'm not mistaken, the consensus was that it is most likely Tsubasa, since it makes the most sense and has been vaguely hinted at by her. She has the connections, money and power to do it and their age is close enough. I think there is just some slight question mark about why Chika would not recognize her as her mother's friend, but maybe it was mentioned that they never met, i don't remember tbh. Also what aramaug said.

I feel like she would have stepped in sooner if this was the case. Tsubasa couldn't keep her hands out of the cookie jar if it killed her.
