Sara's terribly named son getting shanked is just like the space war. Its just there for narrative purposes. It doesn't hold any significance, other than to make Sana and Sara sad sometimes.

Thinking about it, it featured in the end of the first happy event too, which is directly unlocked by that one, but I guess, with everything else happening, it gets kinda overlooked.
True. In fairness, this game has about a billion things going all the time all at once, so being able to spot anything concrete on the first passthrough is kinda rough.
