Hi guys, an off topic question for you: Who is your best girl and which specific moment made you realize that?

For me it's Ayane and the moment that made her the sole winner of best girl is Chapter 3 "Everyone" The standup contest between Ayane and Tsuneyo was so impactful in my first playtrough. Because it made me realise one thing, Tsuneyo announcing what happened in Lavender Green made me much more uncomfortable than the event itself.

I was so shocked at the time i didn't pay attention to any of the reactions made by other girls. On my second time, i saw Ayane going into shock, pain, desperation. Then what did she do? She put on a mask and tried her best to decrease the tension and lessen the impact of "knock knock jokes".

I watched a character crumble to pieces, then standing up and fight for her love. If anyone deserves the title "Best Girl", it's Ayane.

I mean, I like old Maya and I get she's supposed to be the main heroine, but I'm not really sure how to support a relationship that started off with Sensei r*ping her when she was like 12 years old and then her developing some sort of Stockholm syndrome/codependency issue to cope with what happened. Pretty icky, and honestly I kinda feel that with all the high school heroine relationships.

Other than that, it would either be Ami/Niki. Ami because she's hilarious and the whole "overseer" vibe is cool. And Niki because it's nice to have a character genuinely try to help the MC other than just relenting and enabling him. Helps that she has one of the best "events" in the game:



There's going to eventually be a confrontation between Niki and Ami, and I'm pretty excited to see who comes on top.

To any non-subscribers out there: do the profile outfits or main menu images from the Fanfest bork your saves at all? I'd be curious to see if it's like the Care Package content or not. It is free content technically, so I dunno why it would. But you never can be sure with Selebus.

Based on what Aramaug was saying earlier, if there's a trigger in there it might happen from Lilfest content that was shared from someone else downloading it.

Not that I know if there's any in it so far.

Ayane and Niki are duking out for best girl in my eyes, Maya was up there as well but alas. Ami was also up there for a bit after "super secret Ami event" but ALAS. Niki had Glasswalker and Seed of Self Doubt in particular and Ayane had, well, Chapter 3. But honestly even before that, I feel like Maya would rank a bit below Ayane and Niki because of her beef with Niki and Noriko. I always saw that as selfish of her since as best as we can tell, they really didn't do anything wrong.

That said everyone knows Niki/Ayane/Maya are at the top of the list, what about characters you didn't expect to like? I did not think I could like Kirin even after skipping Prisoner but she's moving up the list surprisingly fast. Same for Uta except she doesn't even have any caveats so she's near the top of the list.

Funnily enough my answer to this question is the same.
Niki started off as a stereotype bitchy ex, was super boring and I didn't like her pop star aesthetic at all. Fake and entitled. So seeing her turn out to be so sweet and caring completely flipped this on it's head. Even at first I felt it was mildly redeeming but not too much, but seeing how she's taken so much initiative for Akira and Ami really pulls at my heart strings.

For a less boring answer I'd go Kirin or Otoha, maybe Maya too.
Kirin is, frankly, still kinda shitty but at least is learning a bit. What she did to Ayane was downright nasty of her and watching Ayane borderline choke her over genuinely felt good. Ruined a friendship for nothing. That being said it seems she's started growing a heart recently, I hope it stays that way.

Otoha did Rin dirty and she can die. But her recent events haven't been awful, there's some good there and I appreciate that she doesn't beat around the bush with Sensei and admits (most) of her faults.

Maya was just too tsundere and it was annoying, saw her plot twist coming a mile away (that she liked him, not the other one) but the way it was executed was great.
Huge fan of how Maya Prime ended up and I want her to come back so bad.

Actually, as I've said before, it's clear that since the whole game is taking place in Akira's mind and the various characters are all projections of his unconscious, the best girl is obviously Akira himself.

My «best girl» will, undoubtedly, be Makoto.
Mostly because she's one of the few with a similar parkour to Sensei. We see her pass trough a lot of mental state. Depression, overwhelmed and, now, a «I don't care anymore» state of mind, for example.
No one else get a fraction, in this timeline, of what she had to live. So, yeah, I like her because she's the most «human», in my perception.

Also, I have something for short haired nerd.

What? I never expected Yumi to be my best girl. She is tsundere and I dislike tsundere.
At first I liked Maya a lot, but with time I got kinda bored of her. She is allknowledgeable kuudere (kinda like that type of characters, but if they keep being like this, then it's kinda cringe) character. Plus she doesn't have boobs.

Why I didn't like Yumi at first? She is tsundere (which is more dislikable trait for me than kuudere) and bully.
But hell with it, I started liking her so suddenly for myself, somewhere around... 0.32? (I started playing somewhere around 0.31. I still remember it was summer 2023 and completed the whole game in just a month). Only after finishing the game and Nodoka's assault, I believe, I start feeling something more towards Yumi. Still, she wasn't really the best girl for me back then. Just one of the "good" girls in A or B tier I would say.

But then somewhere in the Spring 2024 I had a theory about Yumi not just being aware of resets, but participating in some old iteration of RAS together with Maya Prime, in which I tried to explain why Maya Prime never interacted with Yumi despite Maya Prime's knowledge and memories of resets. And fuck my mind, after that theory I started liking Yumi more, until she became my best LiL girl.

(go out of my way to write in the code a little piece of dialogue like how I did for the first post of my Uta render earlier, I made a duplicate LiL folder for that little Uta skit, might as well consider doing more than one of these little skits considering that)

EDIT: If I did, I'd probably do 3-5 bits of dialogue, a slight back and forth between the two.

There's only one butterfly for Sekai's normal outfit. The amount of pink/black in it entirely depends on the viewing angle and probably the specific lighting.

Her white dress outfit has a different, all-white butterfly. It can have some pink highlights from the side, but nowhere near as much as the other one. I don't think either butterfly has ever been worn with the swapped outfit.
