Personally she's gone down a bunch of ranks recently, at least since the last beach trip. She's got the mojo to not be trapped by auto pilot, has objectively seen a bunch of strange shit and yet is so skeptical of the time loop story or doesn't care enough about it to the point that I think she'd keep everyone trapped longer as long as she can suck some more dick.

She'll probably get over it in 2 Sana updates but right now she's a loose cannon, and there's so much shit she can make so much worse with that kind of selfish thinking. The fact that yukiblock is activated after her invite events insinuates she said something after "going for it" that made Yuki spiral to the point of not showing up for work anymore, after Sara gave the ultimatum where she could still be seen going to the bar after the attempted intervention. Sana even tried bringing Yuki up but dropped it after Akira was appearing to spiral too so something could have personally happened with her.

You know, I think the same about Makoto actually.
The fact that Makoto is able to understand resets stuff, honestly, has changed very little in terms of the story. Like, yes, Makoto joined RAS and she changed her personality, overcoming her difficulties. But, hey, it had a little impact on the story. Also, she didn't contribute much to the reset stuff, accepting this shit quite quickly, unlike Ayane and Sensei.
Currently all she wants is Sensei's dick.

So how does one make dark mode work with the guide mod? Right now i'm only getting white text, nothing else changed

There's a chance she becomes useful if they can regain the memories they lost from the latest reset. She's objectively seen Sekai alive instead of relying on the guy who admits to hallucinations. If it's going to happen soon it'll be at the next beach trip.

While it could be useful, i don't think who she saw was Sekai.

Anyway, the real problem is Makoto has no motivation to end the loops or bring Maya back. And can anyone blame her?

Imagine Maya Prime came back and fallen in love with Otoha instead. Sure she gives you a handjob every once in a while but her main love interest is Otoha. This is how Makoto feels. Makoto already has a lot of problems she needs to get over and sensei and Ayane expect her to struggle for bringing back a person who would be a net negative on her life.
