Dude, this Otoha line is the most normal fucking thing ever.
Broken marriages and absent parents are also very common.
Depression is at an all time high, I've met many people who've self harmed.
Touka hasn't suffered the consequences of the grooming yet and that's why I said she was the "least fucked up", cause atm she is.

She goes too far during these highs often. Kirin: She's tired of being compared to her Mary Sue of a sister, she believes herself to be a sociopath and had no reason to challenge or resent it for the longest time, yet the worst problem she's had was losing at a science fair. Noriko: Everything bad we've heard about her is from a cosmically biased source who refused to properly explain. If Maya is overreacting, Noriko only lost someone she loved, didn't break and had to deal with Niki who did break.	Karin: Her sister doesn't like her and she almost got raped. I think not everyone has the same definition of "normal". I'm guessing for you it means "least amount of shitty stuff happening to them", but realistically a ton of teenagers (if not most) went through tough times, so "normal" is not being normal here

Slapping her girlfriend in anger isn't justifiable, obviously, but it's not shown to be something she thinks is okay or normal or anything. It's the only abnormal thing about her being "well adjusted" you could really point to, aside from that one incident she's a normal teenager with normal interests.

As far as her circumstances go having pretty conservative parents is a perfectly normal one. Depending on where you live it's the most common circumstance, even. Otoha doesn't have any serious mental illness or horrible traumatic events in her life that we know of - just two parents who are dubious about their teenage highschooler daughter living apart from them and want her to check in regularly when she's out late and get good grades. She's pretty much just a normal teenager with a relatively realistic amount of sexual experience.

Aside from her Rin, Kirin, Noriko and Futaba spring to mind but I don't think Rin, Noriko or Kirin are particularly well-adjusted. Futaba's pretty much normal but I initially forgot she existed lol I guess she seems like a good contender, though her parents situation makes things potentially abnormal. She's got normal interests and issues for a teenage girl though, really.

If this was chapter 1 my answer would not be her, but unironically the most normal girl right now is Yumi.
Yes, she is a poor girl with abandonment issues AND a Yakuza princess, but apart from that, she posseses the most common sense out of anyone. How many times does something absurd happen only for her to be the only one to see it for what it is and call it out? Her origins might be extremely rare but her behaviour is something you could actually expect from a normal person. From being mean, rude and straight up heartless due to her upbringing to maturing emotionally, now she's just a normal girl who's got a bit of a character and is going through hard times, but that's it.

If I had to choose second place... ofc it's Noriko (again) She is a disgusting brony that wants to fuck her teacher and all of her friends, and her sister is a super famous idol that everybody knows, but that's kinda it?
Everybody else is literally worse in olympic tier of metrics.

Before anybody says "Otoha" again, she's literally a predator worse than Akira that would immediately try to rape a cute little boy as soon as she saw him. Touka and Ayane behave the most normal, but they are secretly psychopaths capable of murdering in cold blood, and everybody else is broken beyond repair, sexually deranged, mentally insane, or all three of them together.

The better question to ask here is "who is the second most fucked up girl" because there's probably no argument against Ami being number 1.

Touka has some very real problems, she's just fully aware of them and managing them appropriately.

Her future isn't her own, she is trapped by the Tsukioka legacy, and ultimately, the husband assigned to her (inevitably the son of a high-level manager at her father's company) will be adopted formally as a Tsukioka and he'll be the one to inherit the company. She'll never be the CEO. She'll transition from CEO's Daughter to CEO's Wife and take over the Foundation, because that's the woman's role.

This is precisely why Tsubasa is nudging her to have a wild streak now, because Tsubasa didn't, and has to live with that regret, so now she's trying to experience it vicariously through her elder daughter.

This also means that it's very likely this will create some real issues with Touka's mental health in her adult life, but those won't likely manifest until after she's married.
