Hey everyone, quick question. When I'm doing the dorm hangout with Rin, her hair is blonde instead of the usual black. Is this some kind of bug? I'm still relatively early in the game and there has been no explanation or even acknowledgment of this so far.

I haven't been following the game for too long compared to most but so I might be a little off but from what I gather when a character changes their hair colour/style - as a few of them have done since the beginning, including Rin - their generic dorm hangout scene is eventually changed to match, and for whatever reason this change applies to the whole game instead of just from the point they changed their hair onwards. I'm not really sure if there's an actual practical reason it works like this, though.
You'll notice the same thing if you visit check out Ami and Chika's dorm hangouts, Ami's hair is short and Chika's is black.
tl;dr she's blonde because she dyes her hair in chapter 4

No worries! Just so you know a lot of events hinge on each other with main events being locked behind certain character events having been seen, so you should try to grind your affection up with all of them fairly evenly rather than focusing on one girl.
As you're new to the game I shall now hit you with the mandatory "download the guide mod" reply and tell you that you should download the guide mod (if you haven't already).
Even if you're not too fussed about seeing every event and/or would prefer to make your own decisions in the actual events, there are a total of 35 girls in this game and a few out of the ordinary triggers for some events. It can be quite time consuming at points figuring out what you need to do next without the guide.

Long story short it saves Sel a lot of time every month when he updates all of the dorm images to have new supporter messages on the whiteboards. It's easiest to have the outfit of the chapter / when he can then be bothered to change them if they're changed mid chapter.
I am trying very hard to not give the long story.
I think I've been gone for too long to react badly to it right now, but I get why you would think I would absolutely hate Sana over this considering Sara is near the top of the list.
And yeah, I'm guessing this answers both my questions about trauma and who lands on the bottom.
Honestly, when I come back(which could be anything between months to years from now), it won't be in the same capacity as before. Tierlist will be reset if not abandoned. Fun while it lasted but a new perspective on things could be healthy.
Every time I think of that brutal scene of Nodoka, I get distressed and tears start falling... fuck. I am really not built for such deaths...
Honestly, depending on how 0.50 turns out and if there isn't another big cliffhanger there, I might take that time to catch up to everything. But no guarantees

I actually started with the Guide Mod from the beginning. Saw it in the OP, read about it and was convinced it would be a good idea to use it (trying to balance affection because of said post as well). But thank you for the recommendation anyway, of course!

The big reactions posts are actually part of the fun. Without being able to share my reactions, I would feel alone and the fun of playing would grow stale. LIL is a bit of an exception in how I do things tho. A tierlist, up to date information about how long I've played, what day I am on and so are exclusive here. It stems from how popular LIL is, the presence of enthusiastic regulars willing to give me the time of day and "accidentally" finding out about the tierlist and decided to give it a go to show others what my stance with the characters are, who are my favorites etc.
The daily reaction spoilers however are something I do for every batch of updates I play. The reason why it's daily here is because of the sheer size of the game. I could do with posting them more often on other games too but non of them are as popular and I risk getting multiple next to each other. I recognize some may not like reading too much at the same time. A little at a time, you get the idea. Half of my comments and this account's upvotes comes from LIL... if not 3 times?
I don't think much of the game backgrounds. Just initial thoughts at most. Repetitions aren't my thing.
Ps. I'm spoiling myself by lookin at the fanfest content. I fucking died laughing when I saw Noriko and Maya going at it! Their angry expressions were getting to me.

Haven't gotten to the end of Chapter 3 yet. I've been waiting to see Touka blushing at Sensei because it's been so goddamn long — she's really good at keeping a straight face.

I just finished Chapter 3 and, uhh… what I’m about to say might disappoint you guys. I barely felt anything at all—not because of spoilers, but because I still can’t bring myself to fall in love with Maya enough to feel anything.
For example, I only liked Niki like everyone else at first because she’s cute and a tsundere type, but I didn’t think much of her. Only after the “Glass Walker” event did I find myself actually falling in love with her character. Same with Ayane, Rin, Touka, Sana, etc.
As for Maya, I couldn’t get myself to love her the same way I did with Niki, even after three chapters. This is gonna sound rude, but seeing Chika (if it actually happens in the future) realize Akira was “cheating” on her behind her back all this time might affect me more (even cry because I'm a dick who did that to her)
So yeah… I guess I missed out on that feeling of sadness or crying at the end of Chapter 3 like everyone else

And btw, even if Niki doesnt have "Prime" form like Maya but theres one thing even Maya Prime couldnt even do to Akira while Niki could. Which is making Akira act like a tsundere. Who sweep who now huh.

So excluding happy entities who tend to only be step above the background character/angel look, is Chiaki (Chika's mom who I was certain, until I double checked just now, was named Chise) the only character other than Sekai to get a unique model but not be a Main/Side girl? I feel like that's kind of weird. I'm kinda expecting her to become a thing eventually, probably when my much anticipated Chika breaking happens (one of the things I'm looking forward to the most in the 4 updates I haven't played yet are the Chika events because dear god do I just want her plot to actually move pas the single note she's been stuck on)
God. I love Nikki so so much. She's my favorite character (not counting Sensei). Ayane and Ami would be next in line for the Top 3.
I really want to see more of her past with Akira, how they started dating, what her life was like after their breakup and her beginnings as an idol. What did she think of Sekai or a little Ami?
