I may be a little wrong in my calculations, but currently if the world of Lessons in Love didn't have the resets, 3-4 years would have already passed, it's ironic to think that all the girls would already be over 18 years old with Chika and Yumi being over 19-20 years old.

Yeah, but unfortunatlely they don't have the privilege of aging / maturing.
Being a teenager for that long would suck arse.

Yet, while resets are supposed to make them believe no time has passed and they still should be in their whatever 1.st highschool year, they just casually say things like "blah blah three years ago".
Consistency be gone!

And either it's a sign of them subconsciously knowing or plot faults.

If you're up to current update and not autistic / face blind you should have a decent understanding of what's happening. It's definitely not a plot fault. It's the why that's the question. Why is nearly everyone else on AUTO-PILOT?

Insinuated insult aside, girls (people ouside the RAS) mention things like "remember last Dorm Wars...", for example.
Girls that should still be outside of the group of "They know".

I dont know who you mean with "Why is nearly everyone else on AUTO-PILOT?".
Unless we're talking about the same group of people.
I guess best example would be, or at least was because it's a bit nebulous, Sana.
She's the last i remember to repeat herself when she was confronted with the reset stuff (post Nodoka death).

And what does "Face blind" even mean?
Not seeing whats in front of your eyes? Read that term for the first time.

I'm pretty sure he knows what you're talking about, I think the point he was making was just that it's a plot-point and not a plot-fault/inconsistency.

And i left that possibility open with "And either it's a sign of them subconsciously knowing or plot faults. "
The thing is, if it's part of the plot, we did not get an explanation for it, not even a hint, to my knowing.
Unless you take the story/everything getting more volatile as an excuse for inconsistencies, or the "Rules" of the world dimnishing.

It's also not something that happened just recently, this has been going on for quit some time now.
Can't tell you exact numbers because it has been really long since it happened for the first time, but one or two years seems right.

I am back from playing "Out of touch" for the first time and what a delight it was to see a story that leaves no doubt that the dev knows where the plot is going and everything actually connects.

Mind you, LiL has A LOT of things done better, but that one point made me weep thinking just how much pointless noise this game has.

They're both at about 50%, and that one actually feels like the middle of the story. There's a huge plot twist, almost every thread set thus far is pulled and we get ready to the second and final half.

More than anything I think it's interesting to compare in terms of style of writing. In oot I have little doubt that it will end and that everything will be answered because that's just how well formated and structured everything is. Again, it's really interesting to compare.

Hello guys, I`m new here and there is one thing I cann`t get at all.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Yes, Himawari (assumed) in narrator form explains it after the church quiz.

It was never about the information that Akira remembers, but his mental state. Thus, Niki and Noriko can do almost whatever to Akira and he can tune it off, but with Maya it would cause a breakdown. It's because of how it makes him feel.

Maya kids about how her telling him she loves him is the real deal versus Niki telling him, but that seems to be actual fact.

However, do mind that Akira can't just hear anything from Noriko. He very much starts having issues when she tries to tell him about when she saw him last in the old district with Maya (assumed).

As you've seen i have a hard time remembering all of Oot, because it also has some age to it.
But it's still easier for me to put those loose ends together somehow than it is with Lil.
Things there just fall into place quit a bit easier than it does with lil.
I guess because Oot is lacking the philosophical ramblings.

Ps:
Hope certain individuals don't shank us because "felt ot" game talk :ROFLMAO:

I feel that we're fine as long as we're comparing the two. Tbh i fee like OoT tackled philosophy MUCH more than LiL. Especially fatalism and transcendence.

Granted, it is also surreal that I've been able to play half of the entire planned story in 3 days, whereas LiL is also at 50% and it takes a month and a half at least :ROFLMAO:

But, for instance, in story direction, I feel like OoT is like if LiL had stuck with its initial analogies and at most revealed a plot twist to that (like the light, darkness and the rope). Whereas one just keeps revealing its secrets and providing discussions about it, Selebus keeps adding and adding without really explaining much.

Yeah, i once had the audacity to talk about Oot here to ask Bingoogus about his opinion (he's/was also reading it), and someone tried to axe me... and Bingoogus silenced that guy. Funny memories :ROFLMAO:

While the funny thing is, as i said, Lil and Oot had a crosspromotion thing going on, so any talk about those two should be okayish in both threads.

Anyway...
To be a bit fair, Lil is going one of the possible VN/Dating Sim routes with it's affection/lust values and the (unusual) overboarding amount of choices.
Where Oot is quit straight forward. It also has multiple choice stuff, though nowadays simplified with the icon.
While, the icon is a qol feature and wasn't there from the beginning, which could lead to missed events.
