Please put images behind spoilers. That said, search for 'love' and 'lust'.Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I need some help figuring out how to use URM for this game on a new replay. After consulting with the guide video on the URM homepage on how to change variables, I attempted to start changing variables in LiL, but they don't show up as numerical variables but rather as a string of text. I seem to be a bit too smooth-brained to figure this out without a nudge from the URM veterans in this thread, and before anyone asks, I did try the search function in this thread and the URM thread to see if I could figure this out myself to no avail. Screenshots included below for clarity's sake, and thank you in advance for any advice. View attachment 4895129 View attachment 4895130
This made me want to check out Out of Touch, so thank you. But, for instance, in story direction, I feel like OoT is like if LiL had stuck with its initial analogies and at most revealed a plot twist to that (like the light, darkness and the rope). Whereas one just keeps revealing its secrets and providing discussions about it, Selebus keeps adding and adding without really explaining much.
Are you sure? I don't think I've ever seen Sel or StoryAnon actually hate each other (well OOT had that one recap scene making fun of LiL). Both seem to just really hate Lil-clones. The OOT community I've engaged with absolutely loathe LiL thoughthat was years ago
sillybussy hates story anon now and anon could give less of a fuck

I've always wondered how and why there are many "sons of LiL" (I prefer to call them that rather than "clones" or "copies," at least until I can test them). Lessons in Love is like the Dark Souls of school-set VNs made in koikatsu because it created its own "Souls-like" subgenre.I am back from playing "Out of touch" for the first time and what a delight it was to see a story that leaves no doubt that the dev knows where the plot is going and everything actually connects.
Mind you, LiL has A LOT of things done better, but that one point made me weep thinking just how much pointless noise this game has.
They're both at about 50%, and that one actually feels like the middle of the story. There's a huge plot twist, almost every thread set thus far is pulled and we get ready to the second and final half.
More than anything I think it's interesting to compare in terms of style of writing. In oot I have little doubt that it will end and that everything will be answered because that's just how well formated and structured everything is. Again, it's really interesting to compare.
Other than an entire filler event (out of story) based on LiL as a tribute, they have nothing to do with eachother.I've always wondered how and why there are many "sons of LiL" (I prefer to call them that rather than "clones" or "copies," at least until I can test them). Oh, and would you recommend Out of Touch? Is there a tier list for them?
My comment got rid of the possibility of it being a plot fault. Yes they subconsciously know. The game hasn't explained exactly what's happening because Akira doesn't know what's happening yet. That's how it's always been. There's an entire reset between the player learning Akira's name and Akira learning his name. It doesn't mean there isn't enough information to glean what's happening. And i left that possibility open with "And either it's a sign of them subconsciously knowingor plot faults."
Iirc it's the one with the japanese name:Does anyone remember which event we learn his name is Akira? I remember the Niki event but it was revelead way before then.
We discover his name in the "Smells of Summer" event in chapter 3, it is an event before the "I Will Deliver You to the Fireflies" event.Does anyone remember which event we learn his name is Akira? I remember the Niki event but it was revelead way before then.
I whole heartedly agree with this assessment.Other than an entire filler event (out of story) based on LiL as a tribute, they have nothing to do with eachother.
I could go on and on, just know that both are very good games that are far apart with the exception that both want you to think way more than masturbate. Sex scenes are way better in OoT though (both in terms of engine and imagination). But Selebus is a way better writer. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
