If she counts, then probably Maya's. She initially treats him as a new reincarnation (that's going to be gone soon) while he denies it, then he acts a little unexpected at times which culminates in him buying her a scarf. Immediately she breaks down and starts questioning everything she thought she knew. She begins as a "normal teenage girl" then becomes a stray cat that jumps straight to handholding, which changes everything.

Gotta say, Maya more or less carried Chapter 1 for me.
Maya carried this game until she poofed

I thought it'd be ironic that I was the one with the ball. Although that could also have special meaning since both Selebus and I are at the heads, which would just make sense since I'm his spy anyway.

Edit: Nothing to do with anything, but since the thread is kind of dead... These days I've been thinking about how each of the girls became part of the harem. From Chika's "I'm not a slut but forward approach", to Makoto's "teacher's pet that will force him to have sex with her at halloween", to Sana's "I'd rather you just didn't bang anyone" - which one would be my favorite? I still don't know.

Do you guys have one? I guess we could call it which of the "girl's first arc" you like most.
Hmmm, I've never really thought about this before.

Makoto's would be up there, up til the point where Akira mostly teased/picked on here most of the time and just took her for granted.

I like Futuba's too. The way she started to open up a bit more, getting involved in writing instead of just reading while not actually loosing the great qualities she had at the beginning.

I always enjoy Uta's as well. Coming in a Uta-Chan, flavour beaming the maid cafe food and being overly flirtatious but then reverting to Uta after and needed to get her parent's permission for anything. I really liked the "light switch" changes she had early on.

I miss old Maya :(
Bow before my supremely cultured tastes and remember, anime was a mistake...
Honestly jokes aside I've never been a fan of anything with the anime aesthetic, so it's interesting that this gripped me to begin with.
The power of good writing I guess.

LiL already has far too many secret relationships, so why not one more? Based on something Yuki said on the camping trip, I'm wondering if she and Sekai were friends.

I don't want to jump to conclusions off a single vague mention, but I very much doubt this is a throwaway comment. The way Yuki looks away and changes the subject to avoid answering Sensei's question about her friend implies there's a story there. This digression is completely irrelevant to the rest of the conversation, so Selebus must have had some reason for adding it.

So Yuki had an old friend who was "a creative type" and not only knew English, but also passed on bits of it to people they knew. This fits Sekai perfectly: she was a poet, tutored Akira in English ("Mother May I"), and was probably even an English teacher (alternate timeline Sekai said she was in "Pop Goes the Weasel").

If Yuki knew Sekai, you might think she'd notice a family resemblance in Ami. On the other hand, I'm not sure who else fits the clues. Wakana hasn't recognized Yuki at the bar and in any case is too young. Tsubasa is fluent in English but I can't remember any indication she's a creative type. Maybe Nozomu, but family association with Sekai and Akira is the only reason to think he could fit the description. Any other suggestions?

One last thing to think about: if this is true, was it just coincidence that the accident was between Yuki's friend in one car and (we assume) her sibling's family in the other?

Maybe Kyoto Nagasawa? I think Nodoka got some of her love of literature from her; i'm not sure if it was mentioned that she knows English. I can't see who else could fit, since Yuki has now likely met all of the adults, and most of the school girls.

Nice pick up though. I deff feel like that is something that isnt a throw away.
Maybe both Kyoto and Yuki had sex with the same Yakuza boss and now their daughters are in the same class. Might be the 2 least likiest to bet on of all the girls.

I liked the initial Nodokothon since it was basically just a group circle jerk session where they get to deal with their hormones while still retaining some level of privacy. Involving Sensei in it sorta ruins that entire dynamic.
It feels like the story went from things slowly escalating to having multiple character altering events every 2 scenes. Either the story needs to have a soft reset or reach a conclusion, because soon there will be no level of reasonable deniability for any characters to care about anything.
I figured one of the running themes of this game is the characters breaking and being put together. But recently it has been nothing but breaking.

Nodoka ruined the dynamic trying to make it a reality shattering event. We went from 2 lust checks to alter the results of Nodokathon to an optional completely static event (10 ami choices don't count)

Nodokathon could have become a thing with fun sex scenes where the results change based on how much you've fucked which specific girls. Sana vs Miku, Chika vs Ayane, Maya vs Noriko. Dorm vs Dorm, Floor vs Floor, Makoto vs Nodoka rematch. It doesn't have to be a hidden lebanese thing, and it doesn't have to be lore.

Nodokathon would've worked better as bonus content.
