I think that this picture/scene is one of the most underdiscussed ones to exist here.
Iirc it's after "Times New Roman" and it might be a bit ambiguous, if what happenes after it is real (spending time with Ayane on the rooftop like some apocalyse survivors).

But if it does mean something, who's the girl on the left?
My idea would be, in descending order (because i don't know who has what bust):
Maya (prime)
Ami
Ayane

For Maya it would mean that she never "popped" but was abducted and cleansed of her memory turning her into "Nu Maya".
Could even mean that "Nu Maya" is just pretending to not remember. Though, Himawari and the scarf speak against that.

Ami might make sense because she is likely the one who staged everything.

Ayane, she's a wild card in my eyes. And i don't emember her wearing the bell neclace/choker, like Maya.
I just think that one day, we might find out that Ayane knows more than she lets on.

I remember both Ami and Ayane were cosplaying as Maya. That explains the Bell.

Pareidolia might be in Io's head as well. (And in the head of others)

Or it was just tricking Yumi into speaking with Io, by telling her not to. Yumi is probably the kind of person that'd do what they're told not to, just to simulate free will from their point of view. Which may play into Pareidolia's plans.

Pareidolia being inside Io's head is disturbing since she has the weakest mental health among the cast. Yumi getting manipulated to talk with Io makes sense character wise.

Besides this looking like catering again, i wonder if Sel is trying to squeeze things together, and we might already be in the dark route.

From what I've gathered, the Dark Route isn't until Chapter 6 and it is still Chapter 4.

BUT...I think the plan id still for~100 updates. IF the purity routes are included in that number, then we would only have 15 updates til they start. The dark route is supposed to be short, so might be only like 5 updates in total. Which gives 10 updates to complete the Harem route. If that is the case, you are likely right with hitting the ends for all of the girls Akira hasn't hooked up with yet; since there are 14 left, not including the wizards.

I think "related" was a poor choice of wording on my end (because of blood relation), while associated/in coohots with/aso, might be better.

What i wanted to point out is, if you zoom in on Ami's search result, you see the word "Hope", like Hope is trying to influence her somehow.
Or it's an anecdote to show that Ami and Hope are connected.

FYI, the word HOPE is from the National Sex Abuse hotline, 1-800-656-hope.

You get the same if you do a search for a potential sex abuse term, like the " dad and daughter sex tips" that Ami is searching for.

With the number of girls now, these breaks seem to be common. Norika will have gone a year since her last standalone event. Even main stays like Ami, Maya, Makoto, etc have gone 9+ months without a scene since Jan 2024.

And who knows what the wizards are gonna do in 0.51. We're also due a happy event that's gonna be hidden somewhere regarding Karin once we stop being in big event chains. Fanfest has either made the Beach, Halloween and Christmas happen 3 updates in a row, or Sel is gonna do something about it.

Got to EOC, that felt like a lot less content than I'm used to between 0.45 and 0.49.

That scene where Rin tells Chika she kissed Akira, it seems like she was angry that Rin kissed someone else and not that she kissed her boyfriend, it already felt like she looked at Rin like they were dating for a while already, the way she treats Rin is exactly how she fawned over Akira before she learned he was with others.

Last year Beach was separated pretty well, but the original break would have left 1 update between beach and halloween (and decembers update isn't even marked as christmas)

But then Fanfest's extra month has emptied the space. We don't have any revised changelogs after the beach yet. Sel might compress stuff or do a december halloween update or something.

Guys, you have a button. It will change the timeline, but the only change is... Selebus never adds extra 10 characters to the main cast. At most, a few of them will be in the side cast, like the Kanda sisters. And let's say, Molly and Tsuneyo still exist, but nothing more than side cast characters at best. But any character from the second school will never exist. No Uta, no Io, no Touka (and her family), no Nodoka, no Otoha, no Yasu, no Noriko (and Niki).

No way, yeah the cast is bloated as fuck but the damage is done, there's no character i'd want removed from the story now that they're a part of it...
