Back to LiL, I kept wondering just what Karin would message Akira with (after her talk with Touka).
Would she invite him to talk again? Or maybe she'll message him with a random picture just to resume conversations? What I find curious is that Karin is in to what's happening right now. I think going back to talk to Akira either way is sort of a tacit sign that she's up for getting it on with the city's pedophile... And to do it with a message is also curious, because I'd wager a lot of players forget to even check them.

If I remember rightly her last scene was with Touka and Yasu, where she found out Akira really does suffer from blackouts and "bouts of decreased identity" (as I believe Touka put it).
So I'm presuming it's the latter - a totally innocuous picture and an awkward/bashful conversation as she tries to give him the benefit of the doubt and put things behind her.
Then again the way things have been going recently it could be some nudes she meant to send to Kirin lol

I'm scared to be hyped. 2 part beach update would surely mean something actually important happens there. Potentially a reset too since I don't see them fitting it inside the Christmalloween.
Might be a sensei quest like reset puzzle during 0.52's beach part 1 to accomodate the break that's going to happen in between the two beach parts. Good to know there wasn't a quick update between beach and halloween / christmas that might have thrown off reset predictions.

Count the events. 20 total, yet only 18 are listed. Know what that means, right? 2 Happy Events. Unless Sel changes it again or something mid-production.
I’m honestly hyped for this. Perhaps we’ll finally get the answers we’ve been seeking as far as what the hell is going on with everyones’ behavior, finally see Akira actually do something besides nothing, and maybe even get some insight on what Himawari’s plan is.

I'm inclined to doubt the dude has ever read the thread, we're one of the most accepting community there is.
Hell, we've put up with DeSkel for years saying he liked Nodoka (before it was cool).
I feel like we've been saying that for at the very least a year, since the happy event that Selebus couldn't help but copy and paste from that one show (Twilight Zone?).

What if Sel is counting the animations for the missing events?
That said, when was the last time two happy events happened in the same update?

I can see why you'd think so, but animations don't count as events in the changelogs. Take the latest update for example:

20 events listed, plus the 2 animations. Still a total of 20 events. Typically, if the event count doesn't match up, you can be sure it's a Happy Event.
It's only ever happened once, and that was with Trinity Pt. I & II in update 0.9:

It's a bit of a weird situation, though. Back then, updates were split into biweekly 'parts'. So this was technically the same update (0.9), just different release dates.

You might also consider 0.44 and 0.45's happy events since they're part of the same Halloween event chain and reset. Kyoto from part 1 and Alexisthymia from part 2.
