This indeed is a bizarre situation to walk into. The reason for that is because the majority of picture messages have been something of an "aftermath nothingburger"; chitchats with a hot stud and rarely extremely crucial kickstarters of important development. Exceptions to that to a certain extent do exist; Makoto's blackmail material, wizard Uta's nude, Rin and Niki's nudes, Chika's self-incriminating evidence all have relevant weights in the story, but I am not sure how to apply situations similar to the above to Karin.
- If her picture is more in the realm of nothingburger just like the rest of the picture messages, this implies that Karin is back to talking base with Sensei and perhaps even more, resuming Sensei's daily access to her such as those two still unused Karin springgen events. However, she doesn't even have an event in this update and thus such a grand reconciliation seems quite unlikely.
- Or, it is in fact Kirin who sends the picture to Sensei using her sister's phone. Saying this is only because Kirin is the one that can technically do it, not that I could make up believable incentives for her to do so, especially when Kirin also doesn't have an event either.
- Or, maybe Karin's first picture message would indeed be the in the realm of unexplainable, much like wizard Uta nude. It will be used to set off Karin drifting back to the love arena as that is scheduled to happen but not yet, but then I also have no idea how much sense this makes.
I am bouncing between option 1 and 2, probably right in the middle tbh. With Karin's current situation with Sensei, it is kinda unimaginable that there would be no active acknowledgement from Sensei once he receives it (he has be like wait waaaat!) and thus would almost HAVE TO be important to Karin route. However, also exactly because of her current situation with Sensei, I have no idea how it could be properly initiated in v0.51 (Touka having Karin do so in a Tsubasa event....
) or what effect Selly is planning for with an update that doesn't even have a Karin event. Quite intrigued to see what it is about as well though knowing Karin, it's probably a picture of her playing with a stray cat.This is also an unexpected direction. CHRISTMALLOWEEN? We have holidays that no longer match up with their seasons in the north hemisphere, but at least dates are correct. We have dorm wars and beach trips mashing up with holidays, but never two holidays colliding. I feel like the flow of time in calendar dates has been "relatively okay" in Ch4 now that we naturally start from Oct31 and progress to somewhere in June, but there will be two holidays at the same time in the near future???
(or maybe girls just decide to do two celebrations together, instead of something even more dramatic happening to the time fuckery)

Took a long LONG break to let updates come and now replaying. I have to say, thank you god for the walkthrough mod allowing me to skim through everything to get back to my place without my old save.
Two things though.
Is Futaba and Kairin the devs favorites or something. They are my least favorite characters but they have SO much content and grinding. I call their parts planet Namek filler.
Other thing I wanted to ask, I used to be HEAVY into the lore. Like I translated all the Japanese, Hex, had hypothsis and all sorts of shit. I still remember most of the deep lore, but I was wonder if there was a TLDR someone made of the general consensus of the deep lore. I stopped around when they

Actually, regarding that - I'd like to request a green route save file at the end of the current update (up to date).
*it also should include good homie, and with niki nude trade (I think that's all).
Mine is all over the place with flags, thus the request. I'll take this save file, manipulate certain parameters regarding lust/love points... And, henceforth, always post said save file along with the trigger guides.
This should solve most of the save file requests, as there will automatically be a new save file posted with each update.
